When I was at MSG in 2008, a group of guys behind us kept sending the same 3 guys in the group to get beer/booze, they did this the whole show, these 3 guys missed 3/4's of the show, when they came back empty handed towards the end of the show they explained they wouldn't sell them anymore, man they were FREAKING OUT.

I thought it was funny, they were already drunk as hell and pissed off they couldn't drink anymore at the show!

if you want beer at MSG dont buy it at the foods stands
You will pay $11 for bud or bud light

look for the beer stands that sell imports and microbrews
plastic mug of Heinken draft with a pretzel is like $15, not sure how big it is, 16oz I think

They actually sell good beer, like Anchor Steam and such at stations throughout the 300 level concourse.

The funny thing is all of the times I have seen pearl jam there, there have been waiters walking up and down the aisles selling champaigne. That's serious stuff there.

In any event, can'r we all agree to meet up beforehand at F.A.T.S. on 33rd Street between 7th and Broadway before the show, as they are a lot cheaper and have an even better selection. I for one will be starting out there.

yeah, they do this and its hilarious. Overpriced as all hell but awesome. Its cheap chapaigne and would give you a nasty headache if that's all you drank. The Garden, as expensive as it is is awesome.

I remember the first time seeing that at the Beastie Boys concert in 2004 and found it weird.

Yeah but the point is I don't have to leave my seat. Wish they'd bring me a nice pinot noir and garlic fries, though.
