Booze at MSG?

edited March 2010 in The Porch
Are we going to be allowed to have beer at the garden? Do they sell alcohol there? I did a quick search on this and couldn't find anything...

  • Yes, they sell beer. I wish they didn't, but they do.

Of course there's beer. Please don't buy too much of it and throw up in the corridors.

Find a bar before the show.
Go in with $60 in cash.

You shouldn't need any beer during the show that way.

I had trouble getting beer at Mansfield when I was 1) under 25 with an out of state license and then 2) when a friend and me were over 25 and he had a non-driver ID.

So I guess you never know.

Please don't buy beer at MSG. Take care of business and get lubed up before arriving at MSG, if you have to drink. Why?

    1) Cheaper
    2) You don't have to keep going to pee
    3) You don't miss any of your favourite songs while standing in line for beer
    4) You don't block my view as you are coming in and out of your seat
    5) You don't spill beer on my brand new PJ tour shirt
    6) You don't black out and miss a good show

I'm not against throwing back beers, but save it for the bar!

    Beer is on tap throughout
there are a few liquor bars scattered throughout as well,

but bring lots of money, cuz the Garden aint cheap.
You might want to consider a flask.

It's probably because they want the drunk assholes to calm down a bit before they hit the road home.
