Listened to the most recent album today, for the second time, quite like it, wasn’t sure on first listen a week or so ago. Hadn’t really heard any of their music before. That’s why I love these ‘other music’ threads!

You are in for a treat!  One of the best live bands out there.
  • I was at the tour kickoff in Boston last night. This is truly one of the tightest sounding bands touring in 2022. Similar to their ability to continue to create exceptional new albums, their live show continues to be a knockout. When Alex Fischel and Britt are trading guitar parts, it is wonderful to see. New songs sounded excellent, although I was surprised they only played four of the ten tracks from Lucifer. See this band if they are coming anywhere near you.

Now poor Britt is experiencing vocal difficulties. It's interesting he said on social media that he was tailoring the setlists to have less strain on his voice. I wonder how often that happens with singers? It's just not something I ever thought about, but makes perfect sense.

Yeah that was a good/fun show. Didn't see anyone in an avocado shirt. I was about 15-20 people back (Mike's side). Didn't get there until about 8:30ish or so. Saw the last few songs of the opening act.
