    yes you can

I was just looking, i have Nikon cool pix camera, it shoots video also. It cost 89 dollars.
And then i looked at a 32 gig memory card, only 99 i believe.

So, with this handheld digital camera, ill be able to film a lot from the shows.

    Here are links on amazon.

I have this camera and it takes awesome 10mp pictures and nice video already in avi format.

Heres a link for flip cam that records 60 min HD Footage

The more the better. If we cant organize a full capture, maybe people will volunteer to film certian songs and post the links on youtube, then i can DL all of it and work on an edit. Does that sound easier?

Cool idea, but I can't see how this will fly (and certainly not if organised via the official message board).

Shooting video from your hand-held camera is still against band policy, I'd say people are hesitant to get themselves involved with it for that reason alone - at least publicly.

I brought a small hand-held HD-camera with me to the third show in L.A. in October (not the Nikon that you posted a link to, but pretty much the same size/function).

During Ben Harper's set I held it up to to take video and within 10 seconds a security guy came over and took the camera away, citing the band's "no video" policy.

I love this idea (I was part of the NIN/TOIOU as well), but for it to work you'd really have to get the band to agree to an open-video policy first.

    Just my two cents.
