Dude, seriously though the Dunk would be so awesome. Sometimes I check out the P Bruins because it's a pretty cheap night out and the arena is actually pretty sweet..

Wow the PPAC would be crazy.

Jersey Boys and Pearl Jam back to back nights would be odd to say the least. ;)
  • The best thing about the Dunk in Providence is that there are really no balconies.
    Great Seats from everywhere.

I wonder how many unions and sanitation "contractors" they would need to pay off in order to play in Providence?

The May 17th show hasn't sold out yet. There's still some pretty good balcony seats available. Does anyone really think they'll add a 5/18 Boston Garden show or any other venue in the area?

    yes

Tickets are $43 ea. anywhere in the arena.

Pearl Jam has played in Rhode Island twice.... in addition to the Rocky Point show they also played Club Babyhead on July 11th, 1991.

Now that will be a great show. They are only using half the space, so everyone should have great seats.

I go to Providence College now; go to all the basketball games at the dunk, its a sweet venue, jay z actually played there a couple of months ago. If PJ showed up, i'd be like a kid on christmas!

how many does it seat? i doubt pj will want to play a venue under 10k seats , unless for special reason. that place looks small, like kitchener canada

  • The Dunk holds 14,500 for a basketball game.
I would imagine they could get 12K for a PJ show.

Sorry...gotta keep this going. esp with the Worcester rumors.
