I'll believe it when he takes a picture of the tickets with his phone, sends it to you and then you post the image.

Aren't those the far-away "vip" seats? If so, I wouldn't have too many ruffled feathers over it.

It is far from crooked. Most venues have fancy ammentiy packages for all of their events...the sales are handled separate from regular ticket sales. Due to the bad economy, many businesses have scaled back on their purchase of season tickets/annual luxury box licenses, so the venues have gotten more agressive in marketing posh seats on an event by event basis.

    Look at it this way.

Your girlfriend wants to see Lady Gaga. You don't, but you have to go. ...and you have lots of money to burn.

    What would you do?

the boxes are nice if you want to hang with a bunch of friends and hear the music
not the best way to see a band, but the sound is fine and sometimes its nice to have your own little party in the sky (private entrance, beers, food and bathrooms included)

heck you could be getting blown while holding a sierra nevada in one hand, a kobe slider in the other and hearing PJ-sounds good to me-of course nothing can compare to being up close, but if you cant, this aint all that bad

I may be in a box for Friday depending on how the presale goes.

Good for him. I wouldn't pay $500 per ticket if John Lennon and George Harrison came back to life and the Beatles got back together.
