the 400's are a waste for a concert
try for 200's or betteri post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......0 -
I think the person who said grab 'best available' immediately when the tickets come up for sale is probably right, but in terms of preference, I think its better to be at a higher level, but closer to the stage, than a lower level and further away, just my preference.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

The discrepancy between the 100s & the 200s and then the 200s & the 300s really isn't much
The distance from the 300s to the 400s, however, is bigger.
Sitting in the 300s isn't all that bad, especially if you get side stage.
I was section 309, 4th row for Muse and the seats were just fine!!
that Muse show was fantastic! I was in section 103 - very good view.0 -
you dont want to be in the 400s-they are far away
and you want to be in in front of the speakers
the sound is not good on the sides
other than that-300s are fine0 -
Don't know about the 300 section, but I've been to the venue several times, and it's a fantastic place to see a show, with a great view from any seat. Has always sounded good in there every time I've gone...only saw PJ once there, in 1998 (first night) and they made that big place feel like an intimate theater gig...really great. Hope you get there! I'll be there on the 21st, can't freaking wait!"I know I was born and I know that I'll die...the in between is mine"0

the 400's behind the stage is ok if u don't mind seeing the backs of the bandmates. but it really doesn't matter once you're in there. 2003 MSG was like a big campfire sing-a-long. enjoy the show!!! :thumbup:Everything has chains, absolutely nothing's changed...0

I've been to 6 PJ shows at the Garden and some seats are better than others, but if you get any seat at all on Sat grab it! Just being in the building will be a miracle. Ed makes a point of connecting to the whole croud at one point or another during the show. I've been to 14 PJ shows and in my ticket-getting adventures I once got 9th row at Jones Beach. But back to MSG - the 300 level seats are not bad if they're on the sides. 300 level facing the stage is pretty far away. But no matter, just get in. Good luck!10black0

I have wanted to see them at MSG ever since 2003...LATG is my favorite dvd. I scored 10C tix for both nights and I'm so excited it's pretty much all I can think about.
I can't even sleep at night. Oh man, it's going to be a long two months!!
P.S. What if...just in theory...I won the lottery? I might die. That'd be the end of me.This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

Just keep in mind it makes a difference whether you're in the first or last row of the section. I sat in section 409 in 2008 and frankly I had a blast. It was no comparison to my floor tix for night 2, but it didn't "suck". I echo a previous poster who said closer to the stage and higher up is better than lower level but further away.
The one "sucky" thing I'll say about the 400s is they are a separate section from 100-300, so you kinda don't feel like you're part of the concert. And I kept thinking I was going to fall over from all the jumping I was doing and it was kinda high up

That's my thinking too, I'll just be happy if I get tickets :-)20-04-2006 04-09-2006 05-09-2006 11-09-2006 16-09-2006 17-09-2006 18-06-2007 21-06-2007 26-06-2007 28-06-2007 17-08-2009 20-05-2010 21-05-2010
