It got ruined at the show due to my overexcessive grooving, and subsequently overexcessive perspiration. That was the 1st and last time I ever wear a pair of jeans to a PJ concert. Especially if it's as humid as it was that day. Damn chafing.......couldn't walk properly for a week :D
  • mate thanks for putting quite a disgusting image in my head

    IT WAS BLOODY MUGGY
i went through 3 shirts that night. drenched em all.
hey remember that guy who disobeyed security and bolted down the left side stands to dance above the band ( was it to yellow led). that was choice, he was going off
but then again so was I
It was my good mates first PJ show he was totally stoked. All he wanted to hear was yellow led and thought that RITFW was the closer he was a little dissapointed. but then they did close with it and when they went into little wing it completely blew his mind. Little wing was his wedding song
    one happy chappy

I saw a story on telly at the start of the yr and it was saying how all the Aussies were moving back here cos things were better here than there...
That's cos these people work in the private sector. Like repo men, economics analysts in newspapers and people who run cheapo supermarkets like Aldi, us social workers thrive when everyone else is fucked :)

A top memory of the night was talking to some guy who clapped so hard, he busted a vein. Awesome.

newcastle saved what could have been an awful stain on the PJ aussie fans reputation from the sydney night #1 debacle..

Talk about polar opposite PJ fans..

Did it have anything to do with there not being 10c tickets that night?

this framed, signed by EV setlist and photos are unattainable by any other PJ maniac... (I LOVE the song picks for this show too)

i gather that was a typo.

sydney 2 was the debacle. sydney 1 was great. sydney 3 was better again.
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

there were no 10c tickets for any shows other than the 1st night in each city.

at syd2 i saw a family strolling late into the front row with a couple of kids.
there was an old man behind me in a tweed blazer with glasses on a chain around his neck and was about 65. i was 5th row floor.
ask the 10c members around here as to what shit seats they had for syd2. i had to get mine off ebay after reselling the shit ones i got from ticketek.

something definitley got fucked up with ticketing. seemed like a lot if good tickets were corporate freebies or something.

and apparently the band knew nothing about it and assumed the show had 10c tickets like any other... and couldnt work out why no one was responding up front.

I have one of those 2 only without the personal message and signature from Ed and MR.

I also have one with an autograph from Ed and Mike when Gitta, Hinn and Leigh met them on the beach in Perth :D
