To get your poster framed??

I got 2 done today, my one from sydney3 and also Eddie batman that I bought off given2fly26. Now I have had one poster framed before and both have 2 borders, a black frame and non reflective glass. And they also do some vacuum seal to prevent air from coming in and it going mouldy.

I payed $312 for each, that is Aussie dollars so $242 U.S? Oh and this is each

I know they will look awesome but is this an average price or did I get taken for a ride??

  • They are pricey. I dont get mats on mine, and they range from $100 to $150.

$242 doesn't seem to be too high. Depending on the intricacies of the frame and with 2 mattes, costs will be higher then a plain, black frame without matting. The vacuum seal is the only thing I'm not familiar with and unless the back is of a solid substance I don't know how this would be air tight.
    BTW, have any pictures?

From 100-400 depends on size and matting.

South America was the most expensive one so far.

I got 2 mattes when I framed my Kenyon Hall. Cost me AU$125. Non reflective glass would've cost me 15 extra, but it slightly blurs the image so I opted not to get it.
Took my Newcastle 06 setlist that is signed by both Ed & MR in to be professionally framed 2 weeks ago. This time I opted to get the non reflective glass and it cost me AU$127

I only have Sydney1, the other 2 i only put in to be framed today but I will upload when I get them. And what I do for a bit of lovin. I just joined photobucket and took a couple of dodgy photos from my phone, and you can check out my nephew while your there :D

oh and it isn't vacuum seal it is called cold press. I just looked at the invoice. But to my understanding it works as a vacuum.

  • I usually just buy a $20 Trendsetter frame from Michaels, and then use a 40% off coupon and end up paying like $12.

    They look good to me

thats very pricey, I pay $55-60 ish and get a stunning job done....go to the smaller less fancy framers that way your not paying for their high rents and lovely decor

Just had 3 framed at a local shop. I had Katowice and Munich done with matching green aluminum frames and similar orange-ish matte colors. I had Dusseldorf done in a low profile plain-Jane black aluminum frame and red matte. With a 25% off coupon, it came to only $320 for the 3 of them. I was expecting something more in the $400-$500 range.
