That hotel will not change room to a non-smoking room and also need 2 beds which the hotel will not change.

If you're NOT looking for the lowest price, need two beds, want queens and not doubles, and something within walking distance to the venue, the Holiday Inn is the only hotel that has queens. If you pay in advance you get a room with two queens for $129. Just throwing that out there for us picky types..... :)

Looks like the Westin rate maybe sold out already! I can't get it to work.
I've emailed the gal asking for more rooms. I'll let you know when I hear back.

  • Hey everyone. I also just hooked up a group rate "Pearl Jam Fan Club" for the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Not as good of a rate but still got $99/night instead of the usual $135. Standard room with either two doubles or one King. This hotel is a bit closer, only 2 blocks from the City Power and Light District and 3 blocks from Sprint Center. I have 10 rooms to start and can open more as needed. I will have a link for booking online tomorrow sometime. This offer is not good until the contract is drafted so I'll let you all know when it's set up.

It looks pretty good, newly renovated, and has a Starbucks and free wifi so you can share your show experiences when you stumble back in! Hope this in addition to the Westin saves us all some cash for drinks and merchandise.

Here is the link to the hotel if you are interested in looking:

As a local, I just attended an event at the Crowne Plaza in January. Very nice, and VERY close to the P&L and The Sprint Center. Much closer than the Westin. Not as long a stumble back to the hotel after the show....

driving in from Southern CT  "I'm so super cereal"

got the westin hookup, how far is Arthur Bryants from the hotel? :D
  • Crown Center isn't too far from Sprint, but there are closer hotels within walking distance. It's a decent place, though, and you won't be disappointed.

I went through priceline and landed a room at the Holiday Inn - Aladdin for $65.

We have stayed there before when we went to see the Pumpkins. Eclectic looking place with smaller rooms, but cool vibe and within walking distance to the Power & Light District (drinks and food) and Sprint Center.

Forgive me to everyone waiting on this... Unfortunately it's not going to work out. The sales manager mailed me a contract to sign that says that I would personally be responsible for both damages, cancellations, and room fees if not enough rooms were booked. She never once mentioned that on the phone and I hope you all understand that I was just trying to do a nice thing but no way in hell am I going to be liable for all of that. Sorry again for dragging that out but I was just informed of by email this morning.

  • I just booked a room at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center on Priceline for $65.00 plus fees and taxes for a total of $84.00. I was able to make a request for two beds, but no guarantee. They will bring a rollaway bed to your room for an extra $20.00 if needed. The airport shuttle is $29.00 for a round trip. I hope this helps!

if you stayed at the Westin check your bill. They charged me for valet and my car never once saw a garage and i specifically declined valet parking but they charged me $38 for 2 days of valet parking.
