I think it was 2006 when they first started using the site to sell tickets.
2003 tour is when they began selling tix
2006, they had server problems, but most were able to get tix, although it was painful at times.

It wasnt until they started these "mini" tours in 2008 that 10c tix have become difficult to secure-at least for the northeast shows.

In 2003 we still had to send a money order in right?

ust possibly, the constant complaints for a better server have been heard and let's say thanks that so far the whole buying 10 club tix has been a pleasurable experience.

Or else nobody wants to go to Ballygobackwards to go see them ;)

    read my mind!
  • Yeah 2003 was still Money Order. I remember getting the email on Super Bowl Sunday (Tampa Bay vs. Oakland) and going down to the market that day before the game and sending off for tickets. If I remember correctly, that was the tour where you had to send in an empty envelope with your name/member number on it and when you got up to the window, your tickets were in the envelope you mailed in.

2003 was a great tour by the way.

2003 was the last tour it was "easy" to get tickets

    2006 wasnt that bad

but these "mini" tours have made it much more difficult to score tix

yes I am on the east coast

totally agree with this statement. of course, 2000 and 2003 they did the money order mail ins so you didn't have to deal with a crashing website.
