    Chili Peppers were on a couple years ago and they played one new song and then Give It Away... totally cheesy, but later they said they were asked as a favor (I'm guessing Lorne Michaels?) to play that one. Seemed ridiculous, they just put out a double album with 30 songs or something, to play one new and one everyone has seen them play on every live show from the early 90s (MTV awards, Grammys etc).

    I'm in the Mountain time zone, so getting ready to watch soon. I might not turn it on the first half hour, unless the guys were in any sketches? :)

    Dave Grohl's appearance at the end of the show a couple months ago was really cool!!!

    I thought it sounded really great. 5.1 surround sound, but the best part was my 2 year old daughter singing along to the whole song. After it was over she started demanding "Mas Pearl Jam!"

    How about Ed messing up the lyrics in true Ed fashion. :lol:


    Note: while I was typing this the band flashed on the sceen on the wing of a plane. Sweet!

    Crap I lost interest and stopped paying attention. All I caught was the end of the sketch when he said something about being with the memebers of pearl jam.
