4 is too young, although Im bringing my unborn Child to the show.
  • Why would anyone bring or even think about bringing a 4 year old to a rock concert? Have a babysitter watch her at your trailer. LOL

It would be selfish, she won't enjoy nearly as much as you might hope. Stick to dvd's until 7 or 8 and go BIG!!! I have a 4 and 6 year old and they love watching shows with me and they both know that once 7-8 comes- It's party time!!!!

My trailer? I own two very successful businesses and live in a nice home. Forgive me for thinking that it would be fun to take my daughter to see the band that I enjoy listening to with her.

Don't pay attention to the idiot replies. But some of the others have given some very good advice. In the end, it's your decision. My daughter's four and although it would be tempting, I just know she'd want to leave 1/2 way through the show and wouldn't sit still for one minute. But that's just my kid!

Yeah I know what you mean. But I do think it is not the wisest choice. of course, you know your daughter better than anyone here.

If you do go, get Ear Muffs for her. For children that young ear plugs don't work as well because they don't get a proper fit.

  • All I'm going to say to this is that I'm a very responsible parent. I'm ridiculously protective and do everything I can to keep my son safe. My wife and I provide a very stable environment and don't subject him to anything questionable at his age.

That being said, my wife and I took him to see U2 last year when he was 2 1/2 and it was awesome. He loved it and we've never regretted it. There were several factors to this, primarily that it was outdoors and that we got seats as far back as we could. If your show is outdoors and you could get lawn seats then that would be ideal. Just get some earplugs or some big puffy headphones, plenty of water and kid-friendly snacks and you'll be fine.

There are some people in this thread that are seriously off the mark on this. If you do it right and prepare accordingly you'll have a blast!

DO IT!!!! Espically if she loves PJ, she'll never forget it and neither will you!!

I took my son to see PJ last year at Spectrum #3, he loved it. Although he's 10, he's still a child. People were very respectful and everyone said how cool it was. Be prepared for the pot and cigarette smoke, but there's nothing you can do about that.

He's just being an ass. I'm sure you have good intentions, but I'll just reiterate a majority of the posts and say but leave her at home.

I saw Eddie Vedder solo in Boston...there was a 4 year old sitting in the seat in front of me. Of course, it was a much different atmosphere than your normal Pearl Jam concert, but she was very well behaved and actually sang along to most of the songs!
