Bristow, Virginia? Any DC people know of an easy non-car way to get to Bristow, VA?There is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous

Its nice to see them out of the meadows. Haven't seen a show at the XL center since the Stones in 1999.
That was AWESOME! I was there, and I'll be back for this one also. But best show for me was May 25th '06 at The Boston Garden! My daughter went up on stage with ED! Then they played SMILE for her........
BEST SHOW EVER."This one's for Shae" -Ed, right before playing SMILE for my daughter (who was 9 then) BOSTON GARDEN 5-25-060 -

i'm happy for the midwest though

I get -and appreciate- that the band wants to play places they love to go to and are doing things their way. I really do. But it's very frustrating as a fan of the band to sit here and watch them play places like MSG many, many times over before playing Atlanta. They will have played MSG seven times since their last Atlanta stop. When Vedder played his solo shows here he seemed to imply that they'd play here. I've been in Atlanta since 1998 and have only been able to see them here ONCE (they played here a second time but I was on my honeymoon). Can't they just throw us a bone once and a while. I mean, it's not that bad of a place. They recorded the last album here. Heck, Id' even drive to a place like Nashville. But nothing. Nothing close, other that Jazz Fest. I will be there, but seeing them with another 60K people is not as good as their arena shows (the sound alone). Oh well, hopefully they come here during another leg of the tour...Post edited by charlesyoung39 on0 -

Glad to see that I can drive to a few Midwest shows instead of flying this time.
I feel bad for the South and the West though.
I won't change direction, and I won't change my mind - E.V.

Same idea here, going to make the trip from Chi-Indy.
Weird, this is the same place I saw my 1st ever PJ show in 2000, this will be my 10th and I've never been to this venue for any other shows. No time to be void or save up on life, you gotta spend it all.0 -
Enjoy the shows all that go.
Now the real question is do they do something on October 22?
If they do I hope it is somewhere I can get to relatively easy.0 -
Dallas fucked over again. That was fun. Glad I got my lube last night.

I'm actually glad there isn't a Toronto/Montreal date in there, 'cause it would be tough for me to make a T.O show . . . . not impossible, but I'd have a tough decision to make (and to convince my wife to let me go and leave her with our 3 year old and newborn)
So maybe the summer . . . that would probably be better timing!Post edited by nevmiles onBarrie 08/22/98

Funny how there was more buzz going on before the tour dates were announced. Seems like there are a lot of let down people in here. Shit, I'm just trying to convince my wife that while we are in Upstate NY for my sister's wedding to take a detour to NYC for the MSG show!! It's proving to be a little difficult!0
