PJ has contacted both Post Gazette Pavilion AND Mellon Arena...here's hoping that they play at least one of these venues! Two nights to close out Mellon would rock :)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE play Post-Gazette. I hate going to Mellon for shows (plus they played here last couple times).

Sugarland is playing Star Lake on May 14, so it looks like the venue will be open in May.

I've never been to PG/Starlake/First Niagara or whatever it's called these days, so would love the opportunity to have PJ has my first way out yonder.... :D

Traveled out to Pitt for 2 shows - 1 at PG when it was Starlake and 1 at Mellon Arena. Both great shows and great crowds. I hope to make it their for a third show this tour!

It'll most likely be in May when the tour is rumored to happen, probably the 1st half of the month. So, before they head to Europe.

I am so ready to rock in Pittsburgh!!! I have seen them both places and I can't wait!! BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I am praying that the rumors will not be true and it is not the 1st week in May. My daughter is graduating from college out-of-state and I will be gone. It will kill me if they are here in my hometown and I am not. Please be later in MAY!!!

Anyone know what happened with this?

It looks like there should be one between VA and Buffalo, as they'll go right through Pittsburgh and there's a couple free dates.

Not to mention there's this locked thread that had everything spot on before the announcement..but missed the Pittsburgh show.

Hopefully they add this date on, especially considering that they did so with a few dates for last year. I just hope they do it before tickets go on sale. I don't want to buy Cleveland/Buffalo tickets when they play in my hometown....poor college student here.

I guess I'm ready to rock in NYC and Cleveland... :D
  • drew0drew0 Posts: 943
I'll be at Cleveland and thinking of Bristow/Buffalo. Probably Bristow, as it's outside...

REALLY hoping that a Pittsburgh date gets added on May 12. Makes perfect sense, and thats what the "leaked" dates were showing...

  • Hoping that's the case. I don't understand why they pass us up all the time now. We supposedly were one of their fav places to play but after eddie's comments last time i don't know.
Was thinking on road trip to cleve but it's mothers day so i don't know if i want to piss off 2 of my favorite ladies.
    come on open date!

I can't explain how disappointed I am over the lack of a Pitt show... Pearl Jam was teasing me...

the good thing about the igloo closing is that we can finally get some good concerts here again. The consol is going to be state of the art as opposed to the relic across the street.
