Copenhagen could manage one more PJ Show - and that would be just great in 2009
Run away my son. See it all. Oh see the world.

The other side of the globe would be Australia. I wouldn't mind, but given the choice, gimme vibrant Euro GA shows over staid aussie seated shows anyway

Not our fault mate. Blame the promoters etc
    Europe in 09......don't think so

Pearl Jam 2009 Tour will include:
    Australia/NZ
    Asia (maybe)
    South America
    Canada
West Coat USA (that's the reason why PJ did am East Coast tour this year)

fuck that .. GA is bunk cuz then you queue all day and miss sightseeing, especially in Aus where even a semi decent 10c number gets you a super good seat ill take sightseeing all day and not queuing and then fighting stupid drunk italians all show any day of the week. of course thats just from hearing experiences of euro travelers combined with my own knowledge of GA shows.

You end up getting early entry anyway, queueing up early or not. And considering the fact that there aren't that many 10c'ers, it's not like you're gonna be more than 15 rows back. Rows, in seated shows parlance, distance-wise. Cos there ain't such a thing in GA.

Rob, there's nothing wrong with the critical mass of nutjobs who'll rock out come rain, hail or shine in Australia. But the number of passengers who just stand there and chat amongst themselves in Australia far exceeds Europe. Espcially if we don't get the 10c tix in the secondary shows in each city.

Personally I wouldn't mind a GA show or 2. Maybe they should do it how they did GA over here on the Yield tour where 10C members had their own GA section at the front. I'd be up for that :)

accordong to Mr Mike McCready the 2009 tour will include the USA, Europe and Australia (in late 2009 or early 2010)....it all depends on when the album will be ready..it might not happen for a while as they only have 5 songs with no lyrics....

Are you sure you're not getting 2009 mixed up with 2006?

I moved from Australia to California between their Sydney and West Coast shows in 2006. I missed two opportunities to see them.
Haha, we were probably in the air at the same time. :(

I don't know why people bitch and moan about only seeing them *five* times.

I'd do anything to see them just once.

well some Aussie crowds dont help.... the US shows that are seated have 10 times 20 times better crowds... I think it's the vast number of casual fans that attend Australian shows there just aren't enough 10c members here.

don't you guys see the pattern here...ev solo tour west coast tour, pj mini east coast tour....now an ev solo east coast tour, and next will be a mini pj west coast tour...then an album, and an official world tour after it's completed.

Or maybe Eddie solo tour in Italy? What a beautiful dream.....

thats spot on soooooooooo many casual fans at melbourne in 06 i went to all 3 nights the worst was when eddie handed the mic over to the crowd to sing baba oriley on night 2 and no one sang! the crowd sat through most of the night as well! one of the sydney shows was a disaster too so sadly i dont think we've earned the right for another tour here

Really!? That sucks! I missed the '06 Aussie tour cause I was living over here... but I do have to say, I've noticed a difference in seeing PJ in Toronto and NYC as opposed to Sydney. Sad but true. I think it's possibly cause Australia is largely starved of big artists touring (although I think it's better than it was) that everyone goes regardless and you end up with the situations you're talking about... lots of casual fans who sit. Shame. I still hope Australia gets a tour... that 5 year drought between '98 and '03 wasn't fun.
