    Death To Smoochy.

This film is a crack up. Robin Williams is brilliant as the villain, Rainbow Randolph.

Love the movie! A favorite, but yeah, its depressing because Wash and Shepherd die.

Haha, yeah I'm definitely a "Browncoat". So this movie/series usually makes me ridiculously happy, as with all of Joss' stuff, but the end often leaves me a little depressed.

I haven't seen the film yet. :( And I'm going to. :? Guess I'll have to see if I can forget what you said before watching it. :P

    lol, sorry!!!

If its any help Shepherd has a very small role in the movie and it won't ruin anything. He was a big character in the TV series.

Really their deaths don't do much for the story. They really didn't need to kill off Wash. I think it was for shock value for long time fans of the series.

I figured anyone who was going to see the movie would have already watched it by now. :P

No worries, chances are my boyfriend would've ruined it for me at some point anyway. :P

I've only seen the first 4 episodes the the series but I like it very much. Me "waking up" to all this Firefly/Serenity noise is thanks to the boyfriend-o-tron. I've seen the cover of Serenity at work hundreds of times, but to be honest, probably never would've picked it up by my own choice.

Anyhoots, I'll watch it one day. :D

And in keeping with the topic of the thread..

Films that cheer me up: Yes Man (I think someone else mentioned this one too.)
