Opener?

I know that we will probably only have to wait for a few more days, but I was just wondering about people's thoughts on an opener for what is probably the mini-American tour coming up. Ben Harper and the R7 are pretty heavily booked this spring before hopping the pond with Pearl Jam.

    Soundgarden?

Don't know if they have released any tour dates, but I can dream right.

    Long night for Matt.

Somebody a few weeks ago said Band of Horses. I'd love that.

I thought about that too, but they have headlining dates booked in the south during Apr/May, so the possibility seems remote. They would blow the roof off together now in 2010.

Id also be happy with no opening band-- how about PJ doing an acoustic pre-set as the opener!?

    please no state radio.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

+1...perhaps we could get oceans twice that night...lol...as with better man lol

also, jack johnson is touring and US dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, perhaps he's waiting for PJ to announce so he can say he's opening for them?

    3 words-The Black Keys!
  • I'd LOVE to see Social D open again, but doubt that...especially now that they don't have a fucking drummer. :(

Atom quit because of "scheduling conflicts" with his crap band Angels and Airwaves.

Not that i will attend any US shows, I agree cause it usually means he will be a guest during PJ set. We have him twice in Ireland. I know lots of fans going to the shows, not one of them wants to see him. Why am i bothered about the US shows, is i buy all the boots and dont want to be hearing him every time i put one on even if it is only 1 or 2 songs. The 2009 he is brought out everywhere he supports them.

The black keys and band of horses gave new albums coming out in may, either one of these bands would be an incredible opener for pj
