Ditto for 'Wheat Kings;' 1 of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
But oh, I can't stand the Tragically Hip.
While I'm at it, other songs I dig by bands I don't...

    All the Right Friends; REM
Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me, Kill me; U2
Famous Last Words, My Chemical Romance
    Viva Forever, Spice Girls.

    Yeah, I said it!
    Cheers.

Let it Happen by Jimmy Eat World.

I don't know why but whenever it's on I turn it up and rock out. I hate every other one of their songs though

    It's been awhile - Staind.

I remember when this song first came out I related to it a lot and really loved, even still today, but all their other songs never lived up to it for me.

Let me entertain you - Robbie Williams
Break it Down Again - Tears for Fears

Creep by Radiohead. Good band, but a little too pretentious. Saw them live a couple years ago(mostly to make my wife happy) and wasn't very impressed. I've heard they won't play most of their singles live(even though the popular singles are what made them rich and famous and allowed them to tour in the first place...)

there singles are good, but like Pearl Jam, the hidden gems are the ones that aren't that common...

Thank you for being the first one to write it. This song is so stupid, but I cannot turn it off.
It is time to admit that we used to rock like hurricanes. It is time to run for the hills and go round and round. It is time for us to shout at the devil. We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, and we're not gonna take it anymore.

shiver by coldplay. love this song! it gets me, i think its fantastic. the rest of coldplay i just dont care for, from the music to the image, chris martin...meh

another one is long december by the counting crows. ive loved this song since the moment i first heard it. tho i have to admit that the counting crows has seemed to grow on me some in the last year. i still dont own any albums and could only name one or two other songs. but long december ive always loved

one head light by the wallflowers tho im not sure this counts. i mean jakob dylan is little more than a one hit wonder (oh and bob dylans kid of course) but one head light usually gets my stereo up to full volume

I like one Coldplay song. I can't think of what it is right now. It's one of the big ones. I think it starts with a "T". Not a fan of Coldplay other than this. Too whiny.

    Good idea for a thread.

Edit: just read the thread and the song is "Talk". I knew it started with a "T"!!

It's a song I really like, but I hate Liam Gallagher... I think he is so cocky... IMHO.

I'll second this. I like a couple of there songs but overall, no.

I like this song and "Jigsaw Falling Into Place", but that's all. Again too whiny like Coldplay for me.

Kid Rock - Cowboy. This guy should have been a one hit wonder!

I would put this and Batwidba (sp?) in there and Wasting Time. The rest I really don't like. That Sheryl Crowe song he dueted on is awful as is the summer song with Werewolves of London/Sweet Home Alabama.

Learn To Fly - Foo Fighters.

Love this song, but just can't get into the band.

Everlong by Foo Fighters. Might be in my top 10 songs ever, definitely in my top 10 of the 90s. "Promise not to stop when I say when..." great lyric.

To me, the rest of there stuff doesn't come close to this song.
