That was a painful game to watch vs Ghana. Spotting another team an early lead, we were eventually gonna get burned. In 4 WC games total the US has led for approximately 3 minutes.

Game 1 vs England: trail 0-1 early, eventually tie it at 1-1 had lead for 0 minutes
Game 2 vs. Slovenia: trail 0-2 early, eventually tie it at 2-2, had lead for 0 minutes
Game 3 vs. Algeria: 0-0 until 91st minute, have lead for ~3 minutes before eventually winning
Game 4 vs Ghana: trail 0-1 VERY early, eventually tie it in regulation only to give up the lead AGAIN very early in extra time. had lead for 0 minutes.

I think its safe to say the US was the luckiest team in this WC. We played like shit. Yes that game winning goal by Donovan against Algeria was pretty sweet but I don't think we deserved to advance.

I disagree. The US team has played far better than teams like Brasil, England, and Spain (so far). If they would have won the foiled Slovenia game, mentally they would have played Algeria differently without much pressure. Maybe against Ghana they would have not been so burned out as you said.

Against Slovenia and Algeria, the US team showed some "garra" as we call it in latinamerica. Or balls as you may call it. Bradley showed some insecurity, specially in the Algeria game, but I hope he continues coaching this team.

It would be a shame for a team to lose because an official wasn't far enough down the field to see the ball over the line.

Blind linesman & referee! The ball was over 2 feet across the white line. Those 3 ref's from Uruguay need to be replaced for this 2nd half.
