after just seeing the Drive By Truckers live for the first time, I would definately consider Patterson as a great kid's name....
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
    ride"!

Just had my son 12 days ago. We named him Jude Lachlan. Calling him Jude. Another name I considered was Whitney, but my husband said no. A name I liked before, but wouldn't use now, is Dack.

Congratulations :D I was due on the 15th June but ended up arriving on the 16th (but in 1979!)
My friend has just had a baby boy and so we've been talking about names loads recently, ones I like are -
    Kai
    Noah
    Jared
    Lucas
    Dillon
    Alexander
    Sebastian
    Jago
    Kieran
    Caleb
    William
    Oliver
    Jacob

My friend actually named her baby Eddie John, but no links to PJ at all, she doesn't like them in the slightest. Though I like to think my continious gushing about Mr Vedder may have invaded her brain in some way.

Don't know about the first name, but Fenway is a great idea for the middle.

I agree with the previous poster that put that but I am not going back to quote.

I would name my son Eddie, but not because of EV (only), but because my father wanted a boy (got 2 girls instead), and he always calls me his "Little Eddie" when I'm cutting his grass and cleaning his gutters! ...So if he had a boy, he wanted to name him Ed.

    This is a great thread.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!
