Sensational vocalist. One of the greats in my opinion.
Really great show, although some of the people in the crowd were a bit anal at the slightest hint of any talking.
Felt sometimes like I was at a funeral not a gig!!
Takes nothing away from Mark's performance though, he was right on the money.

I am so jealous of you folks overseas right now. From the videos I've seen, he's sounding the best he has in years. Unsurprisingly, quitting smoking has done wonders for him. Oh and I think it's obvious that Mark is one of my fav singers ever. I've seen him about five times now and everytime he just gets better and better.

+1! I do still have faith there will be a few US dates though. Maybe that's just wishful thinking.
Glasgow was also spectacular - the audience were hanging on his every note.
I've never heard crowds be so respectful as they were in Manchester and Glasgow - absolutely amazing!
The guy who shouted out "you're one sexy bastard" raised a laugh and a smile from Mark, especially when Dave answered "Thank you".
Great, great nights - if you get the chance do not miss out on this tour. Astounding!
i seen him with soulsavers in cleveland last fall, and hope he comes back to the states to play some more solo shows like this. heres a pic from that soulsavers show
i have seen him with the screaming trees, the twilight singers, the gutter twins, with isobel campbell and just seen him in manchester on his solo tour! amazing show
what a voice that guy has!!
When we saw his solo tour back in 2004 he was hanging out in the bar we were in before the gig - was too nervous to go over and say hello. Is he as intense in person as he is on stage??

Yes. After I spoke with him before soundcheck in Leeds I was just as terrified of him. I get the feeling he wasn't in the best of moods that day anyways, though.
Dublin - Academy 2 - Seriously great show in a tiny basement venue, with a stage thats one foot high off the ground. I was standing three feet away from Mark.....its quite a sight to see him clutch that mic-stand, his grip is so tense....he seemed to enjoy the show, and Dave Rosser was fantastic. Both of them were note-perfect.

I have a favor to ask of my fellow Lanegan fans. If there is someone here going to one of the remaining acoustic shows, any chance someone could pick me up a copy of the CD they've started selling? I'll pay through paypal or however you want me to send the payment. Please

Heard about this yesterday. There is one on ebay.
I hope someone will spread it around. Dying to hear it.

There's a CD now???
What's on it? There wasn't any merch at all in Manchester or Glasgow!

Guess I should have been more specific. I don't want to start any new album rumors or anything.
Its a soundboard recording of the Leeds show. Someone said on One Whiskey they made 1,000 copies they're selling them at the shows now. Since I've given up hope on some US dates a quality recording is the next best thing.

I'll be adding my video links there as they're uploaded to you tube. Fantastic gig tonight including Misirlou with Duke Garwood joining Mark and Dave onstage. We even got them to return for a second encore... albeit it very brief, just Field Song. His voice wasn't as perfect and smooth as it was in Leeds but it was a magnificent setlist.
