So wait, what was the rumor about Albany? I've never heard that once.
I am basing it on the last 2 times PJ were out, they stopped there, even when it was the very short tour. Ed did 2 shows there. That is obviously a hot spot for them. Plus it is only a little over an hour away. :D

If Tennessee, I bet Nashville would be a safe bet. Two nights, once in the arena, then a fanclub only show at the Ryman, acoustic. Ed loves the Ryman, he's been converted. :D

I say Pittsburgh may be in there somewhere. Afterall Mellon Arena will be a done deal soon so they have to play it one more time! Ed did say the 'Burgh was his 3rd fave place to play!!!

This is true, but I think State college can hold over us pittsburgh fans till fall, I don't see them doing like 5 shows and 2 of them being in not so common pj venues and so close to each other.

Personally, I think the tour is off. I think some holds of venues are on, but they just weren't formally cancelled.

I'm not trying to be negative, and I hope I am wrong, but at this point, it's wearing thin. I am not mad, I am not scared, but hopelessly optimistic.

There isn't much in this post that seems optimistic :)

    Epic. . . .
  • Honestly, they need to play just ONE! Count it, ONE! Just ONE show SOMEWHERE in Ohio!

if they do anything in PA - it will be the Philly area, whether it's Philly itself or south Jersey, which might as well be Philly

they will not skip Philly just because they just did four shows here.

Yeah, they'll skip Pittsburgh after 4 years but play Philadelphia. I mean, it's only fair - Pittsburgh has had way more shows than Philly since 2006.

I'd say Pittsburgh is a lock, or at least State College, before Philly (although they did all 3 in 2003). With 4 shows last year, 2 in 2008, etc. I don't see it being justified coming back to Philly while ignoring other areas.

I'm with you, I think Philly is at the bottom of the PA. list if PJ does tour.

If this tour is only 12-15 shows, as rumoured, it would be pretty bad of them to go back to Philly at the expense of a market that hasn't been played in years, like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Buffalo, Detroit, etc. The only cities that were played last year and may get shows again this year are Toronto and Chicago, since neither of those shows was in support of Backspacer.

I would be amazed if they played Philly again not even a year after 4 shows there. I'd guess that any plans would go around Philly proper.
