I am so excited for tonights game! The Canada Swiss game sure was a nail biter though. Canada played well, I can't remember what the shots were, but if I remember correctly, the shot differential was pretty vast. But the Swiss played amazing. Hiller was outstanding! I think that having a tough time with them might be exactly what the boys needed. I'm predicting 5-3 for our Canadian Boys!!!

Feisty centre David Backes warned that his American side could get “embarrassed” by the Canadians if it doesn’t work hard and avoid turnovers.

“We’ll see what we’re made of,” Backes said.

Backes, for one, has put his knuckles where his mouth is, so to speak. He has fought, in the NHL this season, no fewer than three Canadian Olympians: Nash, Jonathan Toews and Corey Perry.

I hope Perry, Toews and Nash let their goal scoring do all the talking tonight. I never really considered those three Canadians as fighters, even though I think Perry is a little more feisty.

Guys like Backes can get away with stuff like this because of the 3rd man in rule. I miss the days of Kocur, Probert, McSorley and Semenko, those guys patroled the ice and kept punks like Backes in their place.

You forgot to preface Drury's name with "Proven Winner" or "Heart of a Champion". Right Rangers fans? Lol.

The US better hope for a run and gun game where Miller steals it for them. They definitely have the edge in net, they have some small, speedy forwards who can score but their D is horri-awful. The US has absolutely no chance if they try and play a defensive style and just wait for mistakes and powerplays to make things happen (also known as boring Red Wings hockey).

Great day of hockey today. Czech vs Russia, Canada vs US and Sweden vs Finland. Should be great games to watch.

If Canada wins, you have to listen nothing but Celine Dion and Nickleback until the end of the olympics.

if the USA wins, us Canadians have to listen to Creed for the remainder of the olympics.

Starting to get nervous with anticipation.

Canada probably has like a tenth of the USA's population but the NHL is still over 50% Canadian. It is just so much bigger here!!
