#3 don't elections make politicians personally responsible? screw up... no job. in the private sector you can float by for decades... so what exactly does personal responsibility entail?
#4 you're for enforces laws to a stricter extent? which ones? we do already have the highest number of people in prisons per capita than any other country in the western hemisphere...

#4....the laws need to pertain to everyone....justice was not ment to be for just those that know people in high places...or for those that can afford hi priced lawyers[/quote]

I don't think the First Lady was telling everyone what you should eat. Look at it as making a suggestion. God forbid if you had a salad once in a while. I'll speak in a Tea Bagger language..."Put the fork down"!!!! Here is the one thing that drives me f-ing nuts about these Stupid Tea baggers. Don't they get it that they are the ones getting a tax break!!! Only the top 2% of this nation wealthiest people are getting the higher taxes. Then they come back at you with this great logic that just makes you shake you head and say you poor, poor soul. They say this “Well if you tax the corporations and the executives that make the large amount of money then they won’t create jobs”. What are you f-ing blind? Have you never worked for a corporation before. That’s what they do!!! They cut jobs. They have been cutting jobs for years!!!! That’s how the money trickles down to the bottom line. They are in the business to make things as cheap as possible. I work for a corporation (Marriott) I know…that’s the first thing we look at when we want to save money. I’m sorry for the language here but they just drive me nuts…..

I saw quite a few of these signs on 9/12 with Obama as a Nazi. Also saw some on peace marches of Bush a few years ago. Odd thing is Obama would never ever get a chance to be a Nazi no matter how much he's disliked.

its funny to me that earlier in this thread it is stated that 95% of the american population received tax cuts while the wealthiest 2% had to pay a tax increase...so what is the tea party's opinion on that?? i am willing to bet that the wealthiest 2% are not out there throwing tea bags at the white house or supporting sarah palin....

95 % of the people got tax cuts?? Where the fuck is that?? Obama has already stated that he may raise taxes...you know, after all that"if you make under 250,000,your taxes will not go up one dime" this guy is such a crock of shit. And maybe my taxes haven't gone up YET, but this road the government is leading us down is scarey. You would have to be blind, deaf, and stupid to think that taxes are not going to go up with Health Care reform and alll this spending.
I have never been to one but I believe the Tea Party stands up for this: Smaller government with less spending, and lower taxes. Are there a few nut jobs at these rallies? Sure. But I support the people that are there for the right reasons.
I'm a pretty big supporter of Becks theory. Cut government in half And a flat tax on everyone of like 12%. The country will take care of itself from there.
THIS ADMINISTRATION HAS GOT TO STOP TRYING TO FIX EVERYTHING BY SPENDING MORE MONEY!!

Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins will NEVER get my vote again after voting for the Jobs Bill/ Stimulus Fund. That's why they called it the Jobs Bill. If they had called it another Stimulus Package it never would have passed. Bullshit, Bullshit, Bullshit. It feels like we have a bunch of candyland kids running our government.

your proposal of a 12% tax across the board is laughable. any economist will tell you that. what would you cut to "cut the government in half"?? i suggest starting with the pentagon and the military..

I gotta admit....that is kinda funny. But I know enough not to judge an entire rally on certain people that do not know how to spell. Funny how all these wackos get posted everywhere but you never hear anything about the educated people that are there, gotta hand it to main stream liberal media, they do a pretty good job at keeping people like you UNinfromed.

Yeah, and every Republicans "breath of fresh air" Scott Brown, the newly elected Republican senator from MA voted for Obama's Job's bill. Let me preface this by saying I like Scott Brown and I like what he stood for in his campaign. But I would love to hear what all his supporters aka Obama haters, have to say about this. Do you agree with how he voted? Is he still the savior of the senate?

Scott Brown told it like it is... he voted for the Jobs bill because he wants to put people who are unemployed in Massachusetts back to work. He admitted the bill wasn't the way he wanted it, but it was something to help out his constituents. Which is EXACTLY what his job is... to REPRESENT the people who voted for him. NOT, to play political party games.
I love the assholes from other states calling him a 'Traitor'. He doesn't pull the party line... so, he is a traitor? How fucking stupid are these people?

This Bill is nothing but a short term fix (if that) and a long term financial problem. People think the money for all these Bills is just free money, this money adds to our deficit and needs to be paid back. That is what's stupid! All these jobs bills and stimulus packages our putting our kids in financial ruin for a fix in the numbers that might make Obama look good before his term or terms are up. But down the road....WE ARE FUCKED!!!

Where do you think the money used to fund the Iraq War is coming from? Our kids, that's where.
But, at least with a jobs bill to repair our neglected infrastructure... our kids will get better roads, bridges, sewer systems, power grids, etc... to show for it... instead of bullets and bombs that are blown up or spent.
And you want to know WHY the kids will be paying for it? Because YOU do not want to bear any of the responsibility of it because of your precious wages.

I didn't know we were talking about the Iraq war here but....whats done is done. As far as the Afgan war...bring em home, i'm all for it. But I do think we need to take security of our country very serious. Bring the soldiers home and take all the money we are putting into the war and dump it into homeland security, protect our boarders and while they are at it they could keep more illegals out.

I completely agree. He stated numerous times he was running for the peoples seat, not Kennedy's seat. I commend him for voting for the people and not for the party. If he keeps this up, he's got my vote again in 2012.

He nationalized the home mortgage industry. He wants to nationalize the student loan industry. He has nationalized two of the three American car companies. He wants to create a national health program in a country where that's 18 percent of the economy. He wants the Environmental Protection Agency to run the economy in terms of energy. They've announced that publicly at Copenhagen. He has appointed all these extra constitutional czars. He has a pay czar. You don't think reaching in and deciding that the government will decide what your pay ought to be isn't a form of SOCIALISM ? I mean, go through step-by-step all the different interventionist things in this administration.

He and his administration are the most Socialist, the most left wing, the most big bureaucracy in American history. More so than any other president we've ever had.
