  • Well they've said to expect some big name support bands, so who knows? I swear one thing I read said there would be two stages....

I wonder how many people will go because they loved Rage in the 90's but then grew up, had a family, heard about this, got permission from their wives and see it as an excuse to get pissed with their mates with their shirts off, leering at the women and getting rowdy...
I got permission from my husband, I may just be leering too but I won't take my top off......

Well I have no desire to be at the front of a RATM crowd so will be happily chillin somewhere further back with whoever cares to join me
Yeah, i'm with you on that. I'd rather be a bit further back, comfortable and with people I know.

Me too. I think it may get a bit too 'excitable' in the front.
  • I still haven't had my confirmation through yet :x

btw info on order tracker says "We will start to despatch tickets for this event on approximately 16/05/2010 and we expect to have all tickets despatched by 30/05/2010."
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    Maybe 15 years ago!
  • Praying for a) a glorious sunny day in London, b) they film it for BluRay release and c) we get some great support acts. It'll be really interesting to see who they do book for support. This really could be an absolute blinder of a gig... a proper "I was there" event.
  • Cypress Hill are supporting according to efestivals. I can only think of one of their songs, anyone seen them live before?

I want Saul Williams to support too... Act III Scene 2 with Zack would be immense! 8-)

Yep! Listening to Black Sunday I actually recognise quite a lot of it, I think one of my mate's brothers was into them back in the day. Sounds like perfect music for a sunny day in the park!

Worth a shot I suppose! It's very cool they're doing that though.

Trying to work out how a someone with your username didn't vote for Soundgarden... there's a perfect gap in PJs schedule for it to happen. We should at least try and get SG voted in, even if they turn it down at least we tried. What the fuck are you playing at man?!

Given how Audioslave ended I just didn't see it happening!
  • Woohoo-just found this thread. So, who else is going?

Am I getting my hopes up by wondering if it is no coincidence that PJ played Finsbury Park on 6th June in 1992 :)

Oh it would be awesome if they were able to put in an appearance \m/

2 open air concerts within the same month-I LOVE IT 8-)
