1985 GMC Safari minivan. we called it the "Mama Van"...still don't know why. it was my parents' car that i drove in high school after my sisters & brother drove it into the ground.
buy the first car i owned was a 1983 Toyota shortbed pickup. it was a piece of shit, but it was my piece of shit.
'66 Plymouth Valiant...but not this bitchin' two-door. Mine was a four door I purchased from my Mom.

I think mine was an '87 or an '89...can't really remember. But man, that car was the biggest piece of shit EVER!
my first was the 89 GT. paid $600 for it in 1998. about 60% of the value was in the head unit. somebody long time ago poppped the driver side lock, so to unlock it, you had to stick your finger in to push down the lock. one day i had a heater hose go out on it...next day my stereo was gone.
ended up getting rear ended 4th of July weekend in 1999. insurance ended paying me something like $900 for it after i bitched up a storm.
i liked the corsica so much, i bought her sister, an 88 Beretta GT. it was a fun little car.
1996 Ford Ranger. Bought it with 10,000 miles for $5,500! Cash baby...
no power steering. no A/C. heck, no RADIO!!! no power windows/locks or anything except an engine, manual transmission and a frame... I eventually broke down and paid for a stereo.
Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.
dude mine was the exact same car (model year and color) - fucking awesome little car (although a death trap) - best radio i ever had in a car - that thing fucking rocked.
1994 honda civic. bought it used at 70,000 miles, had it for a few years and then sold it around 150,000 miles. got a decent price for it too... its crazy that hondas have such a high resale value.
This is a pic of one just like mine- 66 Fury
Dad got all us girls one - and he had 2 so when we converged on Moms house there were 5 or 6 all different colors
wish I had one now
1981 Mercury Capri – blue and silver. Hand me down. (First one I bought was an 88 Accord.)
The Capri’s sound system was the best! A deck and amp on the floor…four house speakers…you could hear the static from blocks away
1966 Ford Mustang. Bought it when I was 16 for $1500 and spent 9 months restoring to perfect condition with my dad. It was absolutely beautiful. Emberglow with Pony interior. 289 V6. Four speed manual. I loved that car. Dad's a mechanic and so he is gifted with cars and I am not mechanically inclined at all but learned a lot. We scrapped and sanded and rewired and replaced and so on for what seemed like ever.
So I had that car just over 2 years when one day, I was taking my girlfriend home from school and some asshole in a Ford F-150 ran a stop sign, T-boned me, and destroyed my car (I wasn't hurt bad). Dad and I tried to fix it and we got it mostly right again, but the frame was bent pretty bad. Even after repair it never really drove right again. I sold it in 1993.
believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all!
Mine was a 1983 blue Monte Carlo....inherited from my mom. It eventually ended up going to my grandfather's wife and stayed in action until two or three years ago. It was quite a ride
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow
They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
'73 chevy nova automatic with a 350 engine. i LOVED that car. it hauled ass. i still miss it :( it was too expensive to keep fixing when i was in college so i had to let it go.
I told a buddy of mine that the Toyota's built in the late 80's and the 90's are much better than the newer ones. And he didn't believe me, and now look at the 2009, 2010 models that have been recalled! LOL
I might have to go to Honda if I need a new anytime soon but for now the old Camry is working perfectly.
The "Tinted Stallion" was a 1986 Pontiac 6000, everything window tinted when I bought it and and the suspension was not in great shape so I looked like a low-riding drug dealer, evidenced by the almost 20x I got pulled over during the 8 months I had it. This is the closet picture I could find.

I believe it was a 1974 light blue Ford Pinto 100,000+ miles and it had a milk crate holding up the drivers seat. It gave me 2 years of great service before dying off a highway in Va, grabbed all my books and stuff and abandoned her. Betsy probably made great scarp metal, btw it was that Ford Pinto that BLEW UP if rear ended.
Peace
My first car was a 1980 Ford Pinto...
It started on fire as I was driving to work one morning...burned to the ground on the side of the road...
