Whose biography would you want to read the most?

1. Ed

2. Stone

3. Jeff

4. Mike

5. Matt

If you could pick one book to read on one of the members of Pearl Jam who would it be?

Mine would be Stone
I think reading his story would be very interesting.
His thoughts on Green River , Mother Love Bone , Brad , and of course Pearl Jam.
His thoughts on the other members of the band, people close to the band, and former band
members.
Stone has always been the foundation for Pearl Jam. The one who started it all.
Hows does he feel about where the band has gone in the past and where it is going in the future?

I think is journey would be fascinating

When it's all said and done he leads this band in the direction he mostly chooses.

I'd love to hear his story as to the early days, the pressure, the whole avoid fame to come full circle, what has changed his outlook to allow that etc

basically his take on things to put so much bullshit to rest

maybe one day this will happen - eds is the most likely to me as he's the introspective one - making diaries and journals, and the seasoned reader himself

    One day

  • Stone's would probably be the best written of the five.

And Boom's would suck. Half the book would be about bad acid trips and falling asleep on the beach.

    I feel like I already read Ed's biography in 5 Against 1......

So I would want to read Matt's. Just to see how he got into drumming, the stories on how he met Ed, Stone, Jeff, and Mike during Temple of the Dog sessions, all the Soundgarden road and studio stories, and of course all the PJ dirt since 98 when he got in the band.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

I would have to go with Ed. Yes Jeff, Stone and Matt may have a longer story because they were with other big bands before PJ and stuff, but nothing beats hearing Eddies views and philosophys on the world and it's people and the way things go. It would be crazy hearing some of the stuff hes done or had to say through the years.
  • I'd like a fan club biography...One page each. I think it would be hysterical...and probably a little disturbing (Yeah, I'm talking about you Crazy Breed!).

i'd love to say eddie to read his whole journey, but i think i'd like to read jeff or stones more, primarily because it would take me through green river and mother love bone, and lets face it without jeff and stone's journey through those bands, we possibly wouldn't have the same musicians we have today.
    just my view.

I've always identified with Mike, battled substance abuse for 25 years, just think he's the one i'd learn the most from.

Mike. I can relate to him in someway but I can't think of it. He's my favorite guitarist and he's my second favorite musician, right behind Lennon. If I met Mike, that day would top seeing them for the first time. That would be the best day of my life. Can't wait for the solo album Mike!
