    Someone I know is. He's not going to be around when The Who play here so he didn't have a problem me being him for an hour or so!

  • i was lucky enough to see the 1996 quad tour twice. it was everything and much more. i got mine.

    it's a great charity, imo. probably one of the best. good on pete&roger!!

    I have listened to who's next loads and think its fucking awesome.

    I have listened to Quadrophenia a few times and well the 1st and last song are just brilliant :D I dont like bell boy.. but my point is you asked how much i would pay, i said 1p because im a poor student!

    call be biased but quad just so happens to be one of the best albums/films/concerts ever made
    nothing even comes close. imo

    even a student can afford more than 1p to see the who play quad...u just gotta not eat(or not drink ale) for a few days!

    yes i have the super quadrophenia dvd thing, was a few quid in fopp so i thought why not.. i watched it but didnt really get it tbh, i still dont with the whole mods things haha, but yeah i thought i'd listen to it a few times over the past few days to see if i actually want to go to the show, but i want to see them regardless. They will play other stuff as an encore i presume?

    Need to listen to the other albums!

    got two of the rear standing ones easy on stargreen, these other sites are a nightmare, just in a queue and i want to go back to bed. At least i'm in the building!

    Um . . . By Numbers is one of my faves. Slip Kid, However Much I Booze, Dreaming from the Waist, How Many Friends, Success Story, Blue Red and Grey, In a Hand or a Face . . . .
    And don't rule out Endless Wire, although most of it sounds best live. :thumbup:
