I would agree if you if he didn't have a hole in the side of them where you can see his little toe sticking out. Pretty haggard to say the least. I got him a new pair 2 years ago but he claims they aren't as comfy.

I'm female and I just got a new pair (Sperry's - kind of gold color) and I bet I live in them this summer.
My husband has worn them for years. He's actually wearing a pair right now (Timberland). I got him the Reef (I think) sandals with the mini flash thing in the bottoms last year. Leaks like hell, but he thought they were hilarious.

If I need to do any work on the boat I usually go with my beat up checkered Van slip on's lately...or my super fucking sweet Iron Maiden ones. Though I'm checking out some of these new styles on Sperry and may splurge on a pair of these...

just bought these. used to have a pair but i got into a car accident last summer that left me in a coma... when i received the police report it stated that they recovered 1 brown sperry topsider from the scene...always wondered what happened to the other one.

they aren't bad, and look ok, but...
