Litchfield fan here - originally from Waterbury. Is No Code a cover band? Have you guys ever played the Red Door in Watertown?
If I were Izzy Cole of "Rock Star," I'd feel compelled to make the distinction between a "cover band" and a "tribute band". But since there's no difference in reality, my answer is...yes. (Hope the preamble was worth the read.)
The Ziggy's show marks No Code's CT debut. Now for two questions of my own: (1) Did you happen to see another cover -- er, tribute -- in Watertown? (2) Are you planning to rock out with us on Saturday?
I'm not Seth (and we're both thankful for that), but I can provide the info you're seeking. We'll be tearing into our first song at about 11:30. Original time was 11:00 but the owner decided to book an acoustic act to open. Since we're starting so late, we'll probably go straight through to last call without a break.
I grew up in Bloomfield, moved to Maine, but went down to see them in Hartford in 98, 06 and 08...amazing how the shows in Hartford have been so good...how about the Make a Wish girl on stage during Leash in 08? The best!

This needs to happen
Point taken, sir! (Is it safe to assume that the "He" in "OffHeGoes29" is a gender indicator?)
Sorry guys, missed all this, been away on vaca or would have responded. Fairfield is almost two hours away for me, I'm on the CT, NY, MA border. BUT I'm friends with Joey Ascione, the owner of The Red Door and he, like myself is a huge Pearl Jam fan as are most Watertownies and surrounding folk. Also, there's a new place up here in Norfolk, CT called The Infinity Hall and Bistro. Very cool spot that you guys should check into. Do you have a website/facebook that I can subscribe to in case you play sets more north that I can catch??

Thanks for conscientiously replying after the fact. The info you're seeking can be found below in my signature. You can subscribe to our e-mail list via the No Code website (most reliable method of contact) and "fan up" with the band via the Facebook URL if you're a member of the site. I'll reach out with a private message to discuss these interesting booking opportunities.
Had to bring this one back from the dead. Born in New Haven, grew up in Waterbury and Naugatuck. Saw everyone talking about grinders before and made me think of the Nardelli's I always use to go to in Naugy. It's been a while since I've had one but from what I remember they were the best!!
May 15th is not coming soon enough. Hartford '08 blew my mind and I've been waiting a long time for it to happen again.

Good job bringing this back from the dead. Nardelli's is good. Have you Cavallo's in Waterbury? SO good!
Hartford 08 blew my mind also. First ever concert. I try to not think about this year's, otherwise, the days are going to drag leading up to the show.

I haven't tried Aventura's, but my cousin works at Post and he said he goes there all the time and says it's the best grinder he's had. I haven't tried it yet but I say Cavallo's is the best grinder.
It's great to have someone else from Waterbury on here! 3 right now?

Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'm going to be allowed in.
Edit: Nevermind, I think I'll be able to make it after all!
