Nice thread, with nice people who seemingly don't mind that a few of us posters are using this space to promote an event. Just want to share No Code's CT debut with as many local Jammers as possible!

Okay, I know I really have no business posting in this thread since Ive lived my entire life in Mass. (save for 4 years in Rhode Island in college), but I figured this might be the best place to get an answer on this. BTW I know tons of kids from CT and they are all fantastic people. Anyhoo...I was listening yesterday while the snow was falling outside my window to one of my favorite boots, Hartford 2008. Great show. Great memories. My question is this: During In Hiding, Ed says, "Brian, Brian, how come you never call me?" Who is Brian? Is it the Ohio Pearl Jam fan gone missing? Someone from the board? I used the search function with no success on this matter.

Being a Brian who was in the 12 row for this show I naturally assumed Ed was signaling me to give him a buzz because it's been a while.
I must have lost his number before he gave it to me.
Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"

Franklin Giant grinders in Hartford are the best in the state.
You my friend, have to take a drive to Waterbury some day and try Cavallo's grinders. Pretty good stuff there.

The Agora...saw Stevie Ray Vaughn there in the summer of '85...was smooshed up against the stage, incredible...wish I had a boot from that! After the show, my car was blocked in by people parking 3 deep in the dirt parking lot, so a bunch of guys helped my friends and I "move" the car that had me pinned in!

Yes, that place is great! Aventura's is excellent as well.
All these food suggestions will serve me well when I visit CT in a few weeks. If you guys are ever in Jersey, I'll hook you up with some prime pizza joints.

Yeah, it was crazy, that was the first time I saw dudes just letting it go right there on the floor...you couldn't move down front at all, so getting to the restroom was impossible ! Also saw Twisted Sister there 3 or 4 times. Those were some seriously sick crowds!

You might want to try this place- Super Duper Weenie, but they're only open til 8 on Saturdays, close to Ziggy's, great hot dogs and fries! I was trying to post a link to their website but I'm too challenged...
