    Why would it matter to the venue? The date is placed on hold, if someone else wants it then PJ would be forced to respond. If nobody requests the date then it wouldn't matter if they hold it for 2 years. The venue loses nothing by having the hold there.

    Hmm ... interesting. Since May is the not the summer, I am wondering if the spring tour has become the summer tour. Either that or he considers May to be the summer, which is more probable :)

    most DJs dont know jack
    they tell you that stuff so you will keep checking the website or listening

    really, if there are shows, we will find out

    just set up a google alert-if something leaks, you will find out about it

    the rest is just an exercise in futility until there is an announcement

    I guess they could tour the US after Euro....but me thinks US in spring or fall.

    Yea, I just listened to the Koplik broadcast on WCCC the week after the broadcast where Koplik said dates were on hold. This time, he said he has heard strong rumors about a Pearl jam 2010 tour!!!

    I listen to this show every week and Koplik definitely knows his stuff, like a few had stated earlier in the thread. He has a great reputation as a promotor and is very close with Pearl jam because he backed PJ during their stand against Ticket Basterd. So his info pertaining to PJ is usually correct and he usually is one of the first to get info on them. He also said, no surprise here, that he will be trying to get PJ to play Hartford. If they dont play Hartford, IMO they might play Albany or SPAC because I believe Koplik promotes concerts in the captial region and helps out with NYC are shows too.

    And the OP should update the main thread title, no?
