    Love Joy Divison. I work in Manchester in England, and I sometimes pick up the free newspaper to kill the journey home on the train. When Tony Wilson died a couple years back, they had a big feature about his funeral. When I read the bit about them playing Atmosphere, I had a tear in my eye. :(

    Luuuuuuuuurv The Cure and Joy Division but never noticed this before. :? Think I still like the original better but The Cure do a pretty decent version. :D

    I like Joy Division and I think their music is not comparable with Depeche Mode. Like Nirvana, they published only a few albums, but they remains unique.

    I think I know the answer to this question, but should I pick up the Best Of, or the 2 albums?

    I always enjoyed NIN: Dead Souls and had no idea these guys did the original. :oops:

    I'd definitely get the two albums. They have a million compilation albums out and the only one I have is Substance - this is where you'll find Dead Souls and Love Will Tear Us apart.

    I'd definitely get the two albums. They have a million compilation albums out and the only one I have is Substance - this is where you'll find Dead Souls and Love Will Tear Us apart.

    Great so see this thread, can't believe I've managed to miss it so many times. It makes me happy to see love for Joy Division. One of the greatest, if not the greatest, band to come from these shores.
