Vote here to get our PJ up in the standings! Way behind. Maybe a 10club campaign can turn the tide. Green Day is in the lead?!?! That song is not good. Bruce currently second.

  • You can vote as many times as you want, you just have to let like 20 seconds of Fixer play out, then it lets you vote again. Let's take this thing over. Fight to get it back again y'all!

Do Ed a favor and don't vote. He would rather have hemmoroids than a Grammy.

I think Ed likes to succeed. If he didn't, he wouldn't work so hard to be good at what he does.

Not to rain down hard on this thread.. but I agree with the other fellow..

The Grammy Awards represent everything that is horrific and awful about pop music today.

    TWO WORDS..... LADY GAGA

    (shudder..)

They should really create an awards show for Rock and Roll only... unless there already is one that i do not know aboot.

The Grammys suck no matter what year. If they were rock based they would still suck.

  • I've given up on Awards shows. Nobody I ever want to win a Grammy/Oscar/Golden Globe wins. It's always god damn James Cameron and Sean Penn (Sorry Ed your pal didn't deserve the Oscar last year, Mickey Rourke did).

I gave my vote too, 5/6 times, but I think Got Some should be there not a The Fixer, I know that was the first single but still is not best rock song on the album.

Why there is no a Backspacer in Best Rock Album??
    and
Why there is no a Pearl Jam in Best Hard Rock Performance ?

that is a shame for Grammy, that's way Grammy sucks.

that was 96- 13 years brings lots of changes- I think he would appreciate a Grammy, not an end all, but appreciate it. Fixer deserves this-Pearl Jam deserves this. The message in that song is just beautiful. "I will fight to get it back again!" Fighting for Love
This is an awesome thread- voted 10 times- will put PJ on later with a couple cocktails and sit and do my part
    I love Pearl Jam!!!!

because they're not eligible. the deadline to be voted for nominations was aug 31. It used to be September. I don't know why it changed. Backspacer came out on Sept 20.

I think we would be selfish not to vote.
Just because I want PJ to be my indulgence alone, doestn't mean Pearl Jam don't want recognition.
They have all worked really hard on this.
Imagine how THEY will feel, when the whole wide World sits up and goes Huh??

Pearl Jam needs to spread out, we can't ' not ' vote just to keep them ours.

I think we need to VOTE up and help spread the word.
Don't worry about your preciouse number amongst the Ten Club, it's a load of shit anyway :lol::lol:

True. 13 years is a long time. But on the same note, in those 13 years excluding Backspacer, they have shied away from the spotlight. Not a whole lot of commercial stuff. That's what makes PJ great. They know the songs they write are not going to be recieved well by the masses. But they know they have a solid fan base that will accept it with open arms. Maybe Ed will like a Grammy if he wins. Who knows? But I am not going to be voting for it just because it was on the ballot. Personally I thought it was one of the weakest songs on the album.

  • so... you can vote multiple times on these things... so, in theory, a fanatic weirdo who will sit at the computer all day just clicking "vote" a couple thousand times can get pearl jam a grammy? are you sure we're not voting for a people's choice poll thing on the website? :? am i just not getting it? kind of puts the whole grammy thing in perspective doesn't it?
