I got this guy some Vedder tickets for the 1st Toronto show.
Probably could have sold them for a few bucks but I thought I would do someone a favor ....

Anyways he is gone now and his mailbox is full ...hmmmm ...
Its been a while so I thought I would post this so no one else gets screwed.

Not really about the cash .... Just about honesty.

I am not a big enough Jerk to give his full name and address ...but who knows ????

    This really sucks because for the most part.. we are all very helpful and kind.. and it puts distrust in the air and ruins it for all the other people..

    Thanks for putting his name out.. we need a running list :D Ive had nothing but good experiences helping and receiving from fellow pj fans but theres always one or two bad apples that will try to spoil the whole bunch..

    What do you guys think about starting a thread like "Members You Can Trust in Transactions" where people can post the screen names of those they've had some transaction with that was positive? Maybe then, people will deal more with those who have been trustworthy. Just a thought...

    its too bad these things keep happening cause its only gonna further the "elitism" people are always talking about around here... the fact of the matter is though that the people with a shitload of posts arent gonna fuck anyone over simply because theyve invested too much time building a reputation here... im still pretty good about always trusting people, but i know if it was me that got fucked over just once i would not be willing to deal with anyone from here again

    The list of people you cannot trust I'm sure is much shorter. Besides, what about those honest people new to making trades, etc? If no one has dealt with them but they have honest intentions, they would be excluded from said thread

    how many posts does he have? ive done some transactions with a few people on here but only because i have noticed that they had a lot of posts. i also went in and reviewed a lot of their posts just to see what they were all about. lockedinatrunk...just sounds like a dirtbag to me!

    I have about 20 different people who can vouch for me :D I'd never screw anyone over.. i mean, THEN what would i do to pass time at work :D

    What I do is look at the other person's posts, and if he seems to have a good reputation, I insist on shipping my money order or good first, and ask them not to ship until they receive what I've shipped. Might be a bit naive, but I have yet to be disappointed by all the excellent people here on the Pit :) That said, something like an eBay feedback thing would be a great feature.
