    Where did you find these? And is that real liquor in those bottles? Are these ligit?

    yeah they are legit, an official promo item from 1994 I believe, bar code on the back of the tin and all that, made by epic

    Yeah its Jack, they come in a JD presentation tin with vitalogy inserts....the bottles are defo standard mini JD bottles...

    as for where this came from, a collector in the US who decided he'd had them long enough, the deal took 5 months to complete, I had to be real patient!!! But it was well worth it, been monitoring ebay for this for 2 years and only ever seen 1, and missed out at the last second.

    I've been on the search for the Jack Daniels promo for a long time but the 2 times that I've run into it its been way to expensive..

    thanks, where I live, absolutely no one appreciates these one bit, they look at me a little funny, and say something along the lines of 'whats the big deal'.

Maybe in a pm if you dont want to say here, but I would love to hear the story! I for one am very excited for you. As a collector, I know what these are and are all about and how excited you must be.....That and the chase for them is just as much fun!!! GOOD GOING!! :)

    they were pricey but to me - well worth it, and I paid for them 3 months ago when things were much better than they are now, which has certainly helped!!

    Thanks Jimmy,

    Sam had two spare this year and sold them both to Massimo....

    I tried to get one at the time as I knew I'd be one short with this set, but I'm not so bothered.

    If I see one anywhere I'll let you know, then try and satisfy my urge to complete this set with the second ball.

    I do have the green ball but thats nothing like this one and nowhere near as well made

    It was when it arrived, now its in the home study - pride of place

    you know of the people I asked about these, they all prefer the JD set, personally I love the hoop more, it looks awesome up close and is in great nick.
