Actually I don't even know where it is, but if it's easy to get to from Hyde Park I REALLY need to be there :)

 It's near my house...so about 225 miles from Hyde Park, so either a 45 minute flight to the nearest airport or a 5 hour train journey away from Hyde Park.
I actually had two guaranteed tickets for this Jack Johnson show (I get two tickets to each of the Eden Sessions), I gave up one and my friend is using the other. I know a lot of people are after tickets, but I can keep an ear out locally if you want me to. They are really hot on the ticketing, and do check on ID etc, and also as they are E Tickets in the main there have been instances of people buying tickets, getting to the venue only to find they can't get in as someone else had been sold the same tickets via eBay. They are prettygood at selling any tickets the artist gives back, they did with Oasis last year and the Kaiser Chiefs the year before last. Often these get offered to peeps like me first, so I can let you know if I do get offered any first.

It is an amazing venue, I have lost count of the sessions I have gone to over the years, they only do around 5 - 6 a year. I love it there, I'm seeing Paolo Nutini and Martha Wainwright there in July. I can only dream that PJ would play there!
Jack Johnson loves it down here apparently, he played on a cliff top near me a couple of years ago, turned up in the pub after going surfing and stayed drinking with the locals. Previously he launched In Between Dreams in the UK at the uni bar near me, I think there were about 500 there.

Yeah, I think the Tremough Student Union gig ticket cost me something daft like £10...
The cliff top gig was a blinking nightmare as it was really stormy/rough!

    Enough JJ now...back to PJ

Ya the venue does look amazing. I looked a few minutes ago and it looks like tix were gone in a couple of hours, so SOL for me. Great if you can keep an ear open but I won't count on it, as I didn't realize how tough tix would be. Crazy actually - I didn't realize how popular he would be over seas.

lol I edited my post as you posted this. Yeah, the general release tickets went in a couple of hours but a good third of the allocation had already gone by then through this inside membership I am part of. It only holds a maximum of 6000.
He's got a huge following down here in Cornwall, as does Donovan Frankenreiter etc..it's the whole surf scene here.

I might be there, at the pre-party, but I'm not sure. I bought the tickets (gig+plane) for me and my girlfriend, but it's a surprise. She'll know about it when we come back from NYC (we're going there, during Easter Holidays).

Since she's not a PJ fan and would prefer going to a restaurant and having a romantic evening, I haven't made my choice.

Yeah! But that's such a cliche. I mean, most of French people are dorks. Romanticism doesn't exist anymore (I mean, for men).

But, I'll try to convince her.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I think naked may be off putting for the band let alone meeting in the city centre before the gig. The Irish may let you know the weather can be unpredictable also. so wear a scarf ;)
