i think miss julia deans would sound bloody lovely alongside ed when he's doing his ballad-y, into the wild-y type stuff. but don't be fooled by her sweet songs - she can belt them out and wail like a banshee with the best of em

She would be a weird choice but I think she would fit Thom Yorke more.

I'm a big fan of Ed with Corin Tucker each and everytime. The Golden State was awesome!

Definitely Chan Marshall on Evolution. Couldn't have found a better female artist to pair up with.

Did you catch Eddie on the Kennedy Center Honors? The Romanian opera singer would make a lovely duet with Eddie.

Now that would be interesting....Don´t know if it would work though....Her voice combined with Ed´s....

On the other hand...any female voice but Corin Tucker could work....She makes my ears bleed...

When did that take place? Do you know where we could get the music?

uh.. on "you are free" (cat power's 2003 album). he sings on 2 songs. good woman (the greatest song ever written that wasn't written by pearl jam) and evolution.
I have this album, already, but your reminder has inspired me to pick up the vinyl...so thanks.

and I second your take on Good Woman...one of my favorite songs, period.

He already did a duet with Christina Aguliera for the Bunny Business soundtrack.

(Ed is on 2:10 if you don't feel like watching the whole thing)

Maybe some Sade would be cool, Eddie likes to smoke, and she does her thing, it could be a real cool vibe thing going, his wife might like it.

I listened to those Cat Power songs. I know this is not the popular opinion, but, damn, I thought they were kinda boring.

Eddie and Jemina Pearl (Be your own pet) would be fucking intense....and loud. Never gonna happen though...sigh.

This is so true. "Good Woman" is one of the greatest songs of ever. That said, I hardly ever listen to it - I listen to "Maybe Not" and "He War" often.

    Great album...
