Ok this is what I have

Ten - original pressing - got it 91
VS - the sheep on the cover is not "biting the fence" he is kinda mashing his face up against it (Not the cd cover sheep)
Vitology - Just a huge reproduction of the cd (love it)
No Code -has polaroids in color with lyrics
Yield - the norm
Binaural - was sealed until yesturday got it for christmas from mom and gave it its first spin
Riot Act - the norm
Pearl Jam - the norm, bought it from 10club
Backspacer -the norm
LostDogs - has 4/20 for hidden song
Live On Two Legs - the norm
Ten Redux - double lp (original mix and new mix)

I listen to them all the time (Sundays mostly) and would never give them up I am just so curious to know if there is anything "special" about having them all or the NoCode or Vs. that I have

I don't think Lost Dogs has 4/20/02.....sure you are right about that one?

Maybe I need to listen to it again soon

Well, I don't have the vinyl, but on the CD, 4/20/02 is about 3 or 4 minutes after the end of Bee Girl.

As far as critiquing your vinyl collection, I'm just very jealous.

Mine are all the same as yours. I also have some picture disc and singles on vinyl. I have a Jeremy picture disc, Even Flow single on white vinyl and Ten single with a huge poster bag all 12'. I have the Go and Daughter singles on vinyl but they are the same as the cd single. Same as the 45's from Vitalogy, No Code, Yield and Live on Two Legs. A couple 12' from Binaural, Light Years and NAIS, both the same as the cd single. Riot Act, Lost Dogs (I also don't know about 420, I'll have to check that), Rearview Mirror, Pearl Jam and Backspacer on 180 gram vinyl which does make a difference in sound, and wear and tear. Also the Ten remix, remastered and Drop in the Park. The Fixer single on white vinyl and just got the Got Some/Just Breathe single. All the Xmas singles but the first two and Into The Wild, which has the 'Ed cover' instead of the movie poster which is awesome. I also collect other artists and have some wicked records, like KOL Aha Shake Heartbreak on two 10" clear vinly, and Because of the Times on red vinyl.

My holy grail, a mint un-opened copy of Benaroya. A boy can dream.

    Viva la vinyl!

The vinyl version of Lost Dogs doesn't have 4/20/02.

I've heard that, how can you tell?
  • I've started to get all of them, mainly the LP, or at list in a first time :)

Question: the original pressing of the firsts albums (ten, vs, vitalogy), didn't came out in 180gr, did they?

and I'd LOVE to get Soldiler Field and Benaroya LPs :?

Awesome. There was a thread here on the old pit that I posted those "Mine/Fake" images in, comparing my legit copy to scans of the fake. I thought they'd been lost in the board shutdown, but I'm glad someone posted them elsewhere.

I don't think so. Never seen them in 180 gram. Hopefully the reissues will be 180

As an addition to the link provided, I read somewhere that the inner ring of the Ten BB vinyl had "Orlake" etched onto both sides of it. These were the real ones because the Orlake place where these were pressed in the UK no longer exists. Is this true?

I dunno about the pressing plant no longer existing, but ORLAKE is definitely etched on both sides of the legit vinyl.

Edit: Hey, I found the thread! Apparently it was copied over to this board. Here's the relevant page regarding ORLAKE:

the whole thread is probably worth a read if you're looking at getting a Ten BB vinyl.

Thanks for the link. This definately helps. I have a BB vinyl and was curious if mine was a fake. Looking over all the links, mine has all the signs of being a real one except the half circle cut out on the side of the outer sleeve. I've had mine for quite a few years before all these fakes started appearing so I'm positive it's real.

Edit: I just looked on PJcollectors.com and the BB vinyl on there has the half circle cut out of the sleeve. Now I'm positive I have a legit copy.
