    Why is Soriano playing???
Besides his terrible bat, he can barely RUN!
I also love the fact that he doesn't know what base to throw to!! Ugh!!!

he can sort of run, just can't stop :lol::lol:

however, his bat has been decent. going into today or yesterday he had 8 dingers in the last 16 games.

but he does look aweful lugging that left knee around

Gotta think he's getting a longer leash then Quade, as well he should.

quade was a goof ball hired to be a one season manager unless he worked a miracle.

dale was hired to be a longer term replacement, but knowing it was gonna suck at the start. i don't see him going anywhere for now. 3 years from now....who knows

Yikes, I foolishly went last night and get to watch them 3 more times over the next week, Fri Sat in Minn and next Thur vs Det. I'm gonna keep track of my price per hit on tickets. Currently at $8.33 a hit. Guessing that will go higher.

Valid question. Maybe I should learn my lesson. I'll never go a full season without going to a game or 2. I always go to opening day at Wrigley, and for the past few years have tried to limit it to just that at Wrigley. I live in MIL so I typically try to go to a game each series up here, since it is so close (this is a cutback from going to every game up here in the past, too damn expensive now). Since I am only going to opening day at Wrigley nowdays, my plan is to try and go to one out of town series a year at a park I haven't been to. Went to Fenway last year and it was awesome, this year going to Minnesota. As for the Tigers game at Wrigley next week, I don't want to go, but my buddy got tickets back in Feb and assumed I was going, I got the day off of work and I'm not gonna screw my buddy over on the ticket, plus a bad day at Wrigley still beats a good day in the office (if there is such a thing as a good day in the office).

    This^^^

Plus, you have to support your team, no matter how bad they are. Diehard fans stuck with the Bulls after they tore the championship team apart and were awful - now look where they are.

I will continue to support the Cubs even we they are beyond awful. I get that the team is bad this year (things can only get better) but I can't stand fair weather fans.

I guess you can call me a fair weather fan then.
Because I wouldnt drop $0.10 to go to Wrigley this year, and watch this PATHETIC excuse for a baseball team.

i'd go as high as $10 on a ticket, if the company was entertaining
