well im onyl fussed about saturday, seen metallica many a time and i saw ac/dc on their tour. Paying 180 quid for JUST the ticket for 3 bands its silly.. also festivals these days i only go for maybe 5 bands top.

I cant afford to fly over to england again for a festival so Soundgarden (& AIC) better be playin Ireland.

ANYWHERE in europe is good for me. Maybe even cheaper to go to mainland europe if they announce some solo shows.

Say...my friends who are friends with Soundgarden say that the rest of Soundgarden say this is all untrue... :(:(

But then again, everyone has their price, I guess... ;)

That actually doesn't surprise me. The only member of SG who urgently needs redemption from his stupid techno ways is Cornell. Everybody else was doing just fine. They don't need no redemption :D

also, unfortunately, AIC's manager is Cornell's ex-wife...so that's also unlikely to happen. They could be on the same bill at a festival, sure, but it seems unlikely they would tour together - or even organize a tour...

Maybe Chris is doing a Wolfmother or an Axl Rose - going out on the road with a new band behind him and calling it Soundgarden?

I don't see anywhere it says all original line-up. Actually, apart from one cryptic tweet and website, I don't see anything announced so at this stage it is all conjecture. It appears most of the reporting on the matter quotes annonymous sources or the website statement.

And yes I agree, anything less than a full member reunion is not Soundgarden.

Isn't Susan Silver retired from music business?

    EDIT:
So then I saw this. Although, it is from 2005.

100% agree! It's not the same as AIC situation. Axl looks ridiculous with that made up band. As for Wolfmother...not sure because when that whole thing went down, they were still a fairly new band and recorded only one album.

Yep, totally different to AIC. I'd put that one in the same basket as AC/DC. Singer dies, band decides to keep going.

Soungarden could probably manage it with 3/4 of the final lineup if they were to get one of their original drummers or bass players, but even then, that was before they became the act most of us remember. Could you imagine Tommy and CJ finding a couple of dudes and trying to tour as the Ramones? Or the Police going out with only 2/3 members. Funny, the Doors did though with 2/4.

Although, in the same boat, Queen without Freddie is not Queen and INXS could never really be INXS without Michael Hutchence. Not to menation what became of Smashing Pumpkins...

yeap...no Queen w/o Freddie and most certainly no INXS w/o Hutchence.
I don't even wanna go into that Smashing Pumpkins nonsense because who the fuck knows what kind of crack that poser, Corgan is on, calling that made up band Smashing Pumpkins!

Where did you see this? Could make any 2010 PJ dates easier to predict knowing SG schedule.
