It was £1.19 here and I thought that was pretty good value for all the content you get.
The Alice in Chains app was 59p but doesn't have anything like as much content so I thought both prices were fair.
Depends how much you're going to want to access PJ from your iPhone I guess - for me £1.19 was definitely worth it

Love it!! Already so much easier than using the Internet to check the message board.
Exactly. That in itself is worth the $2. I'm married to Verizon bit have an iTouch and this app is great. Definitely room for improvement but a great start. Thanks, 10C!
What is this "show beacon" thing? At first I thought it was going to show me a video of the beacon theatre show which would be just sick. But I click it and all it is are these little icons flashing. I dont get it.
so I can post on my iPhone normally and already have pj on here too.
so now the app let's me do things I could have done yesterday but for another fee.
I mean I have like $250 credit on my iTunes account from various gift cards, so I could care less.
It's just funny that of all the bands with apps (and there are hundreds) that PJ and Metallica are the only two to charge for it, and people are defending that.
Have you seen what the Metallica app offers? You can log in and listen to every show you have downloaded from Live Metallica dating back to 2004. Also, the most recent show they have played streams for FREE until the next show...then that show is free. There are also free shows from their "vault". That app was worth the 200 pennies. From what I see, this app is nothing but a shrunken version of this website. It should be free for 10 Club members. I'll pass.
Pretty cool and I can see room for improvement. I guess that the $1.99 is no big deal since three backspacer songs are included, although, mostly everybody here and most buyers will probably have them already.
I can see them introducing some new singles...B sides and maybe the Christmas/Holiday single via this format.
Of course we would still receive the vinyl version in Spring or so....

I'd like to see something added to this application for finding PJ friends in close proximity.
I travel a bit around the country and it would be nice to find like minded people to have some beers and talk when ever possible. The free Nine Inch Nails application had this feature just in case developers need some reference? Looking forward to seeing how this evolves before this summers tour. (Damn, the out of country data rates are going to kill me!)

I was thinking the same time. Maybe if it was like $30 or something...even so, if its not worth it to you, then don't buy it!
