Merry Xmas Pearl Jammers...

After seeing threads about Pearl jam dating, trading, networking, social meet ups and so on, I decided to create the ultimate Pearl Jam social Networking site. Please cut me some slack if it is not quite there yet...

The site allows members to join with facebook connect or without and presently has the following features:

User profiles
Online Groups
PM Messaging
Free Classifieds
Dating
Picture & Video (youtube etc) sharing
Blogging (with comments)
Chat (working on this now)

I'm presently beta testing and adding more features. Feel free to join.

    Welcome to all who have joined in the first 24 hours. Remember, it is aplace to share - photos, videos, blogs, chat etc. Hope you like it. I'll be working some more on other features during the holidays and into the new year. If you want to sell stuff for free, there is also a free classified advert section.

    Also, feel free to use the groups funtion to create your own online groups. It's just like facebook, but all about Pearl jam :)

    I have no Idea what to do over your joint, but joined anyways.... :P

    Now I got to make friends with the 8 yrld next door so he can teach me what to do. :oops:

    This is a great idea, thanks for creating it :)

    When they re-launched PJ.com last year on Drupal, I thought that this is what they had in mind for it - blogs, user photos and videos.... Unfortunately, they either changed their minds or just haven't been able to get it going. It's really too bad, but glad someone else at least stepped in and took care of it! Thanks!

    Set up one account, but couldn't work out how to disassociate from my Facebook account once associated, so deleted that account and set up another.

    Just curious - did you develop this with Community Builder or JomSocial? For my next project I need to use one of the two - and I was looking for some reviews.

    It's joomla 1.5.15, jomsocial 1.5, kunena forum and a few others. Most of the profle settings are default atm, will do some fine tuning over the next week when I get back to work.
