I think it's easy for people to vent that way because they haven't been heard themselves or processed through their anger/frustrations/whatever it takes for them to move on to the next level.

but i really resent people who use that as THEIR agruement.

I do have to admit I was like that before... but i think it's because they didn't know, at least from my experience, what they could do to make changes themselves.
Once they realize that there is something positive that they could do to make changes, they usually do.
