Hello all,

Buying a house and getting married. :o

It's time to unload some of my collection. Can yinz give me some advice? I guess ebay is the only way, huh?

I used to be a member on bry but I can't get in there anymore, what's up with that?

I'm gonna sell 96 stuff to 2003.

Thanks

Edit to add 2003.
I found my place......and it's alright

As stated, expressobeans is the place to start to gather info.

The two I'm most looking for ...

    98 Mansfield (octopus)
00 Yield Virgin Promo (playing cards)

Let me know if you have either of these ans you're willing to sell.

    thanks, and good luck.

I was in a similar situation a couple months ago (moving), so I went on ExBeans, figured out prices based on the 6-month average and the total average, and set prices for each. I posted the list here and sold about half of the posters I listed. If your prices are fair, you'll get plenty of action here. I posted the same list on ExBeans and RM and didnt get a single email.

  • Yah, I'm interested in a handful of 98-03 posters, so you'd do well to post here first (if you're a fan of fans). If you could give a shit about us and just want cash, flip'em on ebay first and let us fight it out on there. ;)

  • BTW Bad News for the 1st time Home Credit.
I owned a house before we were married for over 5 years. My wife moved in last year and then we married. Guess what? Because we got married we are not eligible for the 1st time Home buyer credit even if I owned the house for over 5 years since she has not lived in the house for 5 years.

You might want to look at the tax laws for that.
  • Do you have Brisbane 1998?

Figure out some prices you want for the items on expresso beans and post them here first.

I'm a beginner collector (25-30 posters in my collection) and there are a lot in the time frame you're talking about that I would love to get my hands on... please post them here... but if by a snowballs chance in hell you have a Pittsburgh 98 or a Showbox 04 I am screaming FIRST DIBBS!!!!
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
  • What posters exactly are you looking to sell?

Do you have Boston I 2006 (black or purple whale)? I want that one.

We're putting the cart before the horse or rather the house before the wedding. I had a house but she's a property virgin so we should get the dough

No. They are currently under my Mom's bed. So I'm going to pick them up over Christmas and start sorting through them. Then I'll post what I want to sell.
