Watching the mets brings back bad childhood memories of growing up with those shitty phils teams from the mid-late 80s and early 90s (sans 1993, but that was a fluke).

It's not even fun to watch these phils/mets games anymore.

I'm particularly reminded of the pain from the early 90s when Juan Samuel, Gregg Jefferies, and Bret Saberhagen were all going to put our Mets back on top.

i hate how so many teams tried to incorporate black into their team colors these past 2 decades. unfortunately my teams did the same thing. pretty annoying. how could they not know it was just a fad?

The Mets are proof that just because you play in a big market and spend shit tons of money that doesn't automatically make you a contender.

rather have buncha players that have heart and play with balls and a payroll under 100 than a team with a diva who barely plays and a team that cant play basic baseball and a payroll at 140 mil. I can't wait for the season to start and am very optimistic bout winning the wild card. I'd love for Kazmir to be our 5th starter.
