Berlin 2009 struggle!

I bought a 10C ticket for Berlin 2010, (first 10C ticket ever and member since -93!) and have some questions for thouse why had that this year.
Is there a line early in the morning to the ticket booth?
What do you do after you got your ticket? A new line at the gates?
Ive heard something about a number, if you got a number, when can you come back and get your place in the line?
Do you get a real paper ticker or only a wristband? (the GA ticket 2009 was awesome)
Ive heard something about a struggle in the 10C line last year and thats why the GA line was opend 45 minutes late. What happend?
Was there a stampede to get first to the fence?
Could you buy merch at the 10C entrance?
Well thats it, hope to se you there 2010

I arrived around 2pm to line up for my wrist band and ticket with photo ID,by then there was already another line at point of entry for members, it didnt take long and i got into the next line within about 20 mins.I knew that there would be people there from dawn and some who braved it and slept overnight to get in front so my advice is don't get there too late and be prepared to stand for ages.We were then given entry through the first gate with tickets,so the line was moving but slowly,we the had to wait some more, prob just over 2hrs in the heat, but i didnt care as i was in in a good spot in the line .There was merchandise selling outside and at one point had to use the ladies so they let me out with my ticket and was tempted to buy stuff then but had to wait ages to be served so decided it wasnt worth it and waited till later. As we got closer to the early entry time we were given clear instructions"no running was allowed" once inside if we stayed calm and walked we would still get out spots "The Waiting Nearly Drove Me Mad".....but in the end we all wanted to do the right thing and not get kicked out!.Everyone was so friendly and helped each other out, that really impressed me how everyone had respect for each other, cant say the same for the gen public tho.
Hope ive helped a little,it may be different at other shows depending on the venue i guess, anyway hope you have a great night, i did and it was worth the ealy lineup etc and il do it again!!!Ive just got my bootleg cd today and got goosebumps reliving it again it was so good!!!
I know someday you'll have a beautiful life....
we was there,in our bar..and was a gate as u see in foto..there is a quote before the take the tickets .we wrote numbers but didnt work actually Santra try hard for that. and inside in our space in the bar..has toilets, place to see ,,all set..and paper ticket and wristband
there was a problem last year, yes was little late to open gates no merch there..u should go up in the seated,so u loose your spot..so one stays in the barries.the other take the poster and shirts..

well, I missed this year TC sale for Berlin, but got my tickets now officially just 2 minutes ago :P
And fortunately I am able to answer all of your questions as I've been in Wuhlheide twice.
The last two times there was NO TC seperated area. So I am quite over my missed chance to get the SUPER TC tickets.
well, here come the other answers:
There is always a line for the TC ticket pick up. They organize it by Alphabetical order, but you need to wait for a bit. But not too long, so! And it is always fun to be surrounded by so many PJ fans
There is not so much to do after having picked up the tickets. Wuhlheide is a wonderful park area, so this year we just enjoyed the beautiful weather.
But they also offered a real nice BAR for the TC ticket holders... so you could chill out while waiting!
This year we waited quite long to get in and there was no real early in, but it was o.k. as the TC line was located differently. When you walked in you stood in front of the stage... so you could make sure to get the best places for the gig!
The waiting to get in took maybe 40 minutes or so... it was to handle. I don't know why we got in only later... no clue what happened, but it was o.k. ... and I was NOT into any struggle...
And: when you get to the TC office you get a real nice ticket as well as a hand whrist band you put on... So they recognize you as a TC member.
To get merchandise, so, you have no own shop... you need to go to the official one... but the early entry guarantees you to get all the stuff you want to!
So I hope I answered you questions fully.
I am so excited now to have something to plan again... What a nice day to look forward to :P

eheh ;-)
I will be there at 4am.....as last year we have arrived around 11am, and people already had numbers(fanclub organized among themselves) up to around 200
line was getting bigger and bigger every minute(and it was hot outside)
Then in the waiting lot for 10C members(bar, barbeque, toilets), it was around 3K people i would say.......just before the gates opened, it got quite packed.....but the waiting itself was great.....they were spining only PJ....album by album....it was really great!!!!!!
Berlin rocks...its a must see......and the wave around arena(laola) before the show even started....perfect;)))
see you there

I didn't see the point in the whole number factor last year as security aren't going to be swayed that easy and what stops someone writing any old number on their hand!
It's self-regulation, nothing to do with security. & usually it works pretty well. When you show up at the queue, put your name next on the list (usually started & maintained by the first person in the queue), write you number on your hand, and that leaves you free to make sure you keep your place in the queue if you need to go for a piss or some food. You could just write any old number on your hand, but it's not going to match with the list, now, is it? Plus, it'd make you a bit of a git if you did.

It didn't work in London, in fact it only caused arguments!! personally i wouldn't write it on myself, however i dare say some fans would, besides if i was i a cue and 20 people behind had numbers on there hands and demanded to get through because of this i'd tell them to get stuffed
It's been done in many gigs and it's the best thing we can do.
get in line and respect who's before and after you.
don't know what you're talking about

Hahaha, that must have been me and my brother.....We came a bit drunk from the previous night, and I was sure that by 11am, we will be more or less first in line.......Man, what a dissapointment, when I saw so many people already in line.......Guess it was just my dissapointment.....Later on, I calmed down, and we were laughing with my brother, how stupid we were to fight(but honestly, I didnt see it comming - 10C fans organizing themselves)
Well, I learned my lesson.......thats why I said 4AM next year
And I appoligise to all, if I was a smart assssssssss........Hmmmmmm, now if i think better, maybe thats why I got punch in the nose during evenflow from this jerk jumping like crazy in the crowd - totaly ruined concert for me:(. Maybe someone from upstairs wanted to tell me somethingh , hahaha

My only experience with you irish are the hordes of people travelling to every Manchester United game, and you seem nice enough
It's true what you say about Irish and Italian are spot on too, but they don't know what a queue is...
yeah, it was a very bad experience and the numbering system obviously did not work. Elsewhere it did, but not that time!

NO!
IT does work, it has worked in loads of countries and many times before... just people in germany.... or well maybe there were loads of italians..
if it was like rotterdam with crush-barrieres it wouldnt be a problem.
