  • Can't believe how smooth that was even though I was there refreshing from 8.55. I don't generally miss out with Ticketmaster but I thought today would be a nightmare. I resigned myself to the fact that if at 9.10am I did not have one that would be it but by 9.02 was entering my details!!

Looks like I will be going on my own but I don't care! I will see you there. I will be the guy at a bar near the 02 with a pint of Guinness and a huge grin on his face :D

  • Missed out on both sales. Had tix in basket during 10C but was duped multiple times at final payment.
Ticketmaster sale was logged in at 8am Irish time and able to select but missed out on all. Not even a best available. If anyone has two spares would be forever grateful as this show was supposed to be the start of our honeymoon (we're from oz). Will be an awesome show so enjoy it to all those lucky enough to have tickets. cheers.

They will sell out, really, really, really quickly.

Ticketmaster will make them available at EXACTLY 9am Irish time, and I would be surprised if there are any left at all by 9.10am.

I would say the people who stand the best chance of a ticket are the ones who go straight for seated tickets, I would imagine given that there are already at least 2,000 standing tickets already sold (1,500 ten club and 500 o2 priority) that there will not be many standing tickets remaining.

    YMMV.

I'd say you've your figures backwards there mate. The O2 presale allocation for standing alone is well over 2000. I'd imagine 10c got around 500 tickets.

I was told by the 02 guy that allocation for both seating AND standing was approx 10-15%.
  • anybody get "No Charge" for mailing ? is that normal from the .ie TM site ?

I wouldnt be so sure of that. Besides the O2 presale was for standing tickets (now i'm open for correction there, but i know of no one who was offered seated tickets).

They also vary it per show. Peter Kay is an exampe. 30-40% of tickets were gone in the presale there.

I got the same "No Charge" for postage to Great Britain, so I guess it's how they operate? Shame that Ticketmaster UK doesn't offer free postage too!

  • Wednesday @ 5pm i logged on and thought that i would have no hassle in getting two stanting tickets through the 10c pre sale. How wrong i was. I clicked the "BUY" button but the tickets never got allocated to my cart.
I tried for a constant 3 hours (time that i will never get back). After paying 25 dollars for a fan subscription i felt robbed and cheated. Like any other fan clubs i thought that the tickets on sale through the 10c club would be only available for fans within that country and let all other PJ fans try their luck with ticketmaster.
But this was not the case. I was competing with PJ fans from all over the world.
To see posts from PJ fans who got tickets for 3 gigs and Dublin included i felt even more cheated because
i could not even get tickets for the band i love, playing in my own town. I felt sick, so much so that i will not be renewing my membership as the very reason for me joing was to get access to tickets if PJ ever played my town (Dublin).
I logged onto ticketmaster this morning and i was able to purchase 4 standing, and the amazing this is my
girlfriend also got 4 standing. I now have 8 standing tickets and all but 1 of them going to local PJ fans.
Sorry if i sound like a w****ker but all i want to see is one show. I dont have the cash to travel to other countries so i wait until PJ come to Ireland, and it has been 4 years now (or will be since they last played 2006)
So needless to say i am a happy camper and cant wait until the 22nd when i see PJ live, but without any help from the 10c club.
WONT LET THE LIGHT ESCAPE FROM ME
