I'm in but if I get them I'll try and swap them with Pavement tickets. I already got my 10C yesterday.

  • They will sell out, really, really, really quickly.

Ticketmaster will make them available at EXACTLY 9am Irish time, and I would be surprised if there are any left at all by 9.10am.

I would say the people who stand the best chance of a ticket are the ones who go straight for seated tickets, I would imagine given that there are already at least 2,000 standing tickets already sold (1,500 ten club and 500 o2 priority) that there will not be many standing tickets remaining.

    YMMV.
  • Im in! Going for seats!
    Good luck!!

I'll be online clicking refresh and buy like a mofo to score me some seated tickets.

was the o2 presale was just for standing? if so there must be 10-12k left for seating!

The O2 contains 9,500 padded seats but capacity can be expanded up to 14,000. Retractable seating may be withdrawn to create space for 8,000 standing in front of the stage, with the remainder seated. The furthest seat is 60 metres from the stage, 20 metres closer than in The Point. This was achieved by arranging the seats around the stage in a gigantic "fan" formation which the architects likened to the Colosseum of Rome. There are no corporate boxes inside the venue. The backstage area has a "substantial" loading bay for trucks.[6] Alcohol will only be available in a high-security area of the venue in an effort to curb under-age drinking.[7] The "outrageous" prices of €6 for a pint, €6.50 for a glass of wine and €3 for a bottle of water have been criticised by the Irish Independent.[8]

  • My advice on the sale would be to make sure you're logged into your ticketmaster account before 9am and keep refreshing like a muthafucker. Unless you have to have seating just go for best available option.
At least you'll be in the building.... right??

No... I called them - they did have seated in the presale. They said presale tickets were approx 10-15% of total tickets. Add the 10% or so that is custom with 10C, a few VIPs/friends/family, etc, 70% or so of the tix should be available (I think....)

That's going to be the tough decision tomorrow. I dunno wether to just bite the bullet and go for seating straight away or try my luck with standing. I, along with a lot of people on here I would imagine, feel as though I deserve to get some standing tickets after the drama of last night. I hope the real fans and not scalpers get the tickets they want(wishful thinking I know)

    Good Luck Everyone.

I even got STANDING tickets so it means that between 10C and O2 the floor has still some free room for GA's...

which I have to say it's a pity... I would just love to see 10C only standing...

No more of anything left for Dublin, but I got a very nice text this morning telling me of a 10c ticket being kept for me :) So I went ahead and bought Belfast tickets instead.
